Had a wonderful first experience! Everyone was so professional and friendly and the fees were very reasonable for services.

It has been more than 6 years since I had to find a vet. Our lab was a breeder for Southeastern Guide dogs and they take care of all the dog's medical needs at their onsite veterinary clinic/hospital. Finding a new vet is like looking for a new doctor, not something I like doing. When I walk into any medical office, human or animal, two things are important right off the bat, is the place clean and are the people in the front office welcoming. Know it or not, the front office people are the face of any business and first impressions are important. SCVC has a relatively small front office but it is neat and clean and the two gals at the front are polite and kind. The examination room was clean, the young man (I am terrible with names) who came in was friendly and outgoing; very easy going with my active black lab. He was not at all put off by her taking him for a walk, her jumping up next to him when he said the word 'treat' out loud. She was a nervous ninny and labs are a loveable, goofy breed. I asked questions, he gave me very direct answers. Dr. Harris was very nice and direct. He gave me some meds for her ear but was clear that Labs rarely have two clear ears, we would treat it but since it didn't seem to bother her much, it wasn't something to be concerned about. I don't think there is much else one can ask from a vet. Kindness, honesty and cleanliness. And as frosting the fees and cost of meds, while not cheap were reasonable.

We love this Vet Clinic! From Allisa at the front desk, to the techs, and of course Dr. McGinnis. All are so wonderful!

Update Jan 2024: Dr Harris is still great as always. Bryan is also so smart and helpful and both give you information that's honest but practical. One thing that is especially awesome is that Dr Harris calls you directly to discuss results and options after results (if any). Totally going to miss Dr. Harris when he retires next month.

Dr. Harris is very honest and kind and provides many options for dealing with your pet's health issues. He does a great job of explaining things. His staff is extremely nice and helpful! Since moving to this area, we were looking for a vet that provides top notch service and Dr. Harris and his staff definitely deliver. Highly recommend.

We are very happy with the gentleness and kindness that Brian and Dr. Muller showed to Max, our puppy. Dr. Muller was very helpful in getting us started on the right foot for a diet that will help him be his best self.

Had another wonderful experience with Dr. McGinnis and staff at the Sun City Veterinary Clinic. Everyone is very friendly, helpful and courteous. You can see and sense how much you pet is loved and cared for. I’d recommend family and friends without reservations.

Very good first visit! I liked Dr. Muller. I have a cat that freaks out at the vets office and he was very patient with me and my fur baby and very understanding.

My vet, Steve Harris, is great! I totally trust him with all of my animals. With that being said, the practice has started to nickel and dime its customers. There is now charges for this or that. It seems the purpose is to pad the bill. My vet is not responsible for this, the owner of the practice is.

First time I have to say the Asistan Bryan and Dr Vet. Were Very professional and they answer my concerns regarding my puppy

I am extremely disappointed with this vet clinic. A co-worker and myself rescued a young cat from under a church shed that had been there for an unknown amount of days. The cat did not have any visible wounds, looked really cold and dehydrated. All 4 of his legs were stuck out straight but after we warmed him a little and gave him water via syringe he did perk up a little bit. I took the cat to the clinic, told them the story of where we found the cat. I was asked if it was a stray cat to which I stated I assume so. They asked me if I wanted the cat and I told them that my husband was very allergic and I couldn’t have a cat. The clinic stated they would take care of the cat. Well they took care of it alright. They euthanized it. My co-worker called the next day to check on the cat and the clinic told her that they scanned the cat for a microchip, none was found so they euthanized it. To that my co-worker replied, ” so no one could pay the bill so you just put it down. ” That is so sad to me because I thought people became veterinarians to care for animals, not get rich. If the clinic would have told me that if the cat doesn’t have an owner, we will euthanize it, I would not have left it there. Please don’t tell people you will take care of something and then just kill it.

All the staff is very considerate, professional and knowledgeable. Daisy is extremely shy but every effort is made to make her comfortable.

Dr. Steve and his team are the best! We have used other veterinarians in the past but he is tops! Inca must have sensed how nice Dr. Steve is because she was so good. She didn’t even flinch when she got her vaccine.

The most nice and caring staff ever! Very compassionate! They helped bring my 8 week old puppy, Snowy, back to life. I would recommend this Vet Clinic to anyone in need!

Just moved here. The doctor was fantastic and the staff was equally accommodating. My pups needed shots etc.and the staff was able to give them without even getting a flinch!

So happy we found this vet office! Never have we had such a thorough check up for our 8 year old Blue Heeler Nova. Very knowledgeable staff, and the front desk employees were so welcoming and kind. They took very good care of our fur baby.
