I currently live here! I signed a one year lease in August, and I could not be happier with my decision!

Peaceful & relaxing. Very neat, clean, organized, well-maintained. Lakeside dock, with comfy Adirondack chairs, fishing. Peaceful & dark nightly. Very friendly neighborhood. Golf course. Big clean neat swimming pool, with view of lake. Love it! (. Leave the city Far Behind!)

Sun Retreats Ocala was a great place to stay!
We rented a park model for 4 nights, with a reasonably priced golf cart. We played golf, went swimming in the pool & enjoyed the restaurant. We would definitely like to return next year if there are park models available in March to rent!

We have camped here twice. Nice place. There was a fair amount of semi permanent residents. It was clean and well kept. The onsite restaurant was nice with good food. The pool was nice and clean.

We have been here since December 2022. Campground is very clean and well kept. Staff is very pleasant and helpful. Went to get propane filled the other day and Toby (owner/manager) assisted me, was going to do whatever he could do to get my tank filled as he was unable to get a hold of the person that normally does it. Way to go above and beyond Toby! Staff communication is great, whether it be via email or their Facebook pages. We love being here! We will recommend to others!

I’ve been living here for a year and I have really enjoyed it. The pool is always inviting, and the view of the lake is very peaceful.

The grounds are fairly well maintained while some areas could certainly use some improvement.

Our reason for the visit was to spend a few days and get a feel for the property as some lots are for sale and we are perspective buyers.

The positive: The overall area feels safe and most of the residents were overwhelmingly nice. It's the kind of place where you could easily have a long conversation with someone you've never met and feel right at home the first day. The convenience of the pool area, along with a 9 hole course, and a few other amenities made it appealing as a one stop shop for all your local resorts needs.

The negative: There's really no standard to the age of RV's that are allowed here. You may see a $700,000 class A sitting right next to a 2000 park model with a window A/C hanging out that hasn't been cleaned in years. The other bigger issue was the age restrictions and overall demeanor of the neighborhood kids. The first day we visited the pool there was a group of rowdy teenagers that we're extremally obnoxious, bragged about stealing stuff off of boats in the community, and otherwise didn't care who else was at the pool considering every word that came out of there mouth was F&^% this or F&^% that. For that reason, we wouldn't commit to buy in here.

One additional note, if you plan on working from here, you may want to bring your own service provider. The Wifi does not work well as we received. 30 mbps on the down and. 84 mbps on the up. (pic attached)

A note to the management staff: I would highly recommend raising the age limit of the pool area from unattended at 14 to at least 16 or possibly even 18. It would likely resolve some of the disturbance. Also, it may be worth it to explore some type of standard in terms of the RV kept on site. Perhaps requiring them to be washed from time to time, or have the junk removed off the properties.

All in all, we would come back to stay the night or a weekend, but would not explore permanent living.

First time visiting but it's a nice and quiet place, and I'd imagine on a clear night you would see plenty of stars

Currently staying here long term in my camper. Wifi is a little slow, but works. Nice and quiet. The listed speed limit is 5, which tbh is a little slow. Gotta keep my car from stalling out. The shed is convenient.

After getting stuck where a prior reservation was made in another park and was already occupied when we arrived, we quickly searched and found this place. The gal at the reservation desk answering the phone went out of her way to help us out and should be commended! The park is very clean, with nice large sites. Some are probably seasonal or year round sites but overall we are very happy to have landed here! We landed in site #282 the night of April 15th.

Came in on Sunday night. Got our welcome package and went straight to our lot. Our neighbor helped us get tucked in.

First time staying at this resort. We were there to meet some friends and hangout. This resort wasn’t bad. It seemed to offer a decent amount of amenities such as golf, swimming pool, pickle ball, fishing and some other things as well. The sites were level and had decent spacing for our 41 ft 5th Wheel. The water pressure was great, along with the electric. The resort has a small restaurant called the Eagles Nest and we had a ribeye steak that tasted really good and the price wasn’t bad either. The resort is gated which allows for us to feel a little safer. The streets between the sites could be wider, as it makes it difficult for big rigs to maneuver safely. Overall we enjoyed our stay
