Needed loan to pay off debt. Called at 4pm Within 1 hour CU approved $20k at 11%, open an account and $ deposited! Best customer service I’ve ever had! 1000000% recommended to anyone and everyone!

Maurice was such a pleasure to work with! He patiently addressed all my concerns even when I doubted his answer to one specific question based on past bad experiences elsewhere.
He also went above and beyond to accommodate by crunch for time due to another appt.
Maurice assured me when I returned everything thing would be ready for me.
I arrived and he was at lunch, yet he came out to address me by name and advised Tyler I was the person he was to complete my transaction. Maurice apologized as they got busy after I left and he’d taken lunch late. No worries at all as he still ensured everything I needed was done!

Tyler also was most friendly and helpful as he escorted me to the outside teller for a withdrawal that was approved due to the amount, he located documents I wanted to see in my package as I withdrew funds. He was also kind enough to watch from inside the bank to be sure I got in my care safely!

Maurice reminded me I’d been a Suncoast customer for 25 years wow! This is why I continue to bank with them!

Naiara was amazing in helping me open my first joint account with my fiancé! Highly recommend this place for anybody who wants an account with a credit union rather than a regular bank!

I spent an hour and a half at the live teller because nobody inside was able to cash a check for me. I’m not an account holder but they scanned my ID and took in the check through the machine and it disconnected and every time you call back you get a new person so I had finally gotten through to the third person and it took them an hour and a half just contact the original rep to find out what happened with the check it was just so unnecessary and so frustrating in the middle of my workday. I will never ever go to this place again.

But if I could give an associate a personalized rating, I would give 5 stars ️️️️️ to Diana at Ft Myers branch, she was the only good that came from this experience so thank you again, Diana!

To be honest I have been with this CU for a short time and I am already a bit disappointed. I signed up because of all the good reviews.

I opened the account and signed up online. I was never provided a member number to access my online account. When I called the 800 number I was told initially that they could not provide my member number by phone but they could email it to me and it would take 5-7 days. That’s a long time for an email, which I thought was bizarre. I verified with the rep again that she meant email and not snail mail and she said yes, so I said ok.

Then a few days later I called another rep who said something different, she said they can’t provide me my member number by phone, email or even snail mail and I have to go to a branch. She said they don’t send any account information for the first 30 days, even by mail for security reasons. I feel like this entirely defeats the purpose of signing up online. In addition the location and hours are inconvenient for my work hours and it’s difficult to find time to physically go in.

I was also told it takes 3 weeks to receive a debit card by mail. My experiences from having this CU already show their processes are quite inefficient and outdated in comparison to the other financial institutions (including CUs) I’m currently using or have used.

Frankly, I am hesitant to continue with the account and keep it open and fund it further because I am afraid I will only keep experiencing issues and inconveniences. My experience so far has not made me confident at all in this credit union.

We had to open an account and obtain a car loan! They were Excellent! Tom and Maurice went out of their way to make the whole process seamless! Very Professional and Great Representatives for Suncoast Credit Union!

I used to be a suncoast member for a very long time at least 10 years. Two cars through them. Brought multiple friends and family members to suncoast way be fore their referral program. If you are going through hard times this isn’t the bank for you. Someone I know fell in hard times and wasn’t able to make payments and car was taken. When the person paid their dues the car was no where to be found. Money was taken over 10 days ago for a tow to bring the car back and the car is still yet to be found. No one is ever willing to take any responsibility. The great manager Jeff that’s in corporate is very rude and does want to listen to customers. He screamed on the phone & said we will just sell the car and give your money back instead of trying to work with the customer. When you go into the branch and explain the issue all they do is push you around because you do not hold the great amount of money they want you to. No one ever calls you back or wants to listen to you. Main answer to everything is “I am just the branch front this is out of my hands” but when you ask whos hands can you put this in no one has an answer. No one has a direct number. Just call 1800. I used to pride on being a member of this bank but now I will never recommend this bank to anyone.

After a very disappointing calling experience I came in to the physical branch and Tyler Graham was incredibly understanding and helpful. I was ready to leave the bank until he saved the day. Great employee!

Have been with a major corporate bank for years with many frustrations and unavailable services. Diane Bell advised me in opening my new account and was very thorough and helpful. The amenities are far beyond those I’ve had before, there is a much more community-centric atmosphere and I am really happy so far.
