I went to the bank today to take out a personal loan and the gentleman that was assisting us was very patient very understanding and very polite and eager to help us take out a personal loan I got approved for a personal loan and it was fast and simple thank you

If you need a bank to actually be a bank, stay away from Suncoast Credit Union. It’s incredible that I can get an instant approval on any loan from any other bank, but my own bank that I’ve had for the past 10 years. My husband and I applied for a car loan and was given the run around for 2 whole days because they don’t understand 1. How to read taxes and 2. How LLCs work. They kept asking for our business taxes to verify income and didn’t understand that LLC taxes are filed with your personal taxes. LLC income IS your personal income. We explained and explained and their “experts” and “directors” still couldn’t comprehend. Mind you all the income for the business goes through the suncoast account and we have a 750 credit score. Went and called Bank of America and was approved within an hour with a much better rate I must say. I have withdrawn my funds and closed all my accounts. With Suncoast it’s literally pointless to be a loyal member.

Wish I'd never taken a car loan with them! I have great credit, never missed a payment, but this company's refusal to help me with fixing their website's inability to allow me to make external transfers from my bank account have caused me to be late on many car payments because I can't pay from my phone, and as I don't have an actual bank account with them, I can't deposit money whenever I need to at a regular ATM. Instead I have to drive to their location within the hours that they have a "live teller" working. I have contacted 5 times now and the tech team will not respond. Worst bank I've used.

Dina was awesome, really help me with my request. I've been member for long time, I remember when she started. And she still here. U go girl, keep up the good work.

My experience with Dina was amazing. I came in seeking to have an account adjusted and she went the extra mile to get the solution. Truly appreciate her time and effort as a member of the bank.

Poor customer service, impossible to speak to someone over the phone, branch locations are run like the DMV only with worse customer service and a little less tidy.

Suncoast is an awful bank. My account was overdrawn by $6, so they completely locked me out of my account. I couldn't log into my account online to see what was going on. I spoke with Anna, customer service number 5810, who was rude, smug, and barely helpful. She told me it's standard policy to lock customers out of their accounts, and told me I'd have to pay my balance over the phone, because my account would remain locked until I did. Suncoasts policy is to extort money out of people by forcing them to pay a fee to process over the phone. If you're in a simialr position, you cannot pay with a Visa I found out. Only Mastercard. I have completely lost faith in this bank, and am switching to a different credit union. I hope this review helps warn other people. No bank is great, but this one is especially bad. This comes with an extra fee to pay over the phone, of course.

I would like to state that Darrell is an exceptional employee. I was in a really bad state of mind when I walked in the credit union due to identity theft. Darrell was not only calm and professional but also calmed me, letting me know that everything would be alright. He's a very kind professional and is a great asset to the credit union of which I've been a member for 45 years. He's the best!

There employe Dina lowe was probably the nicest person I ever met she sat down and talked to me about my situation help me on what I could be approved with even with bad credit she really opened the doors for me when everyone else was closing them

The tellers are always kind. This particular teller gave me very useful and valuable information. I didn’t know the cashiers checks and money orders were free to members. No more Amscott for me!
