Sunda Tampa

Came into Sunda with my husband and had an amazing time. I highly recommend requesting Aaron as your server he was amazing! Made my night and experience a memorable one.

Loved the atmosphere! Great service and our server Aaron nailed the recommendations. Do try the Pork Belly Buns and the sushi. We also got espresso martinis and margaritas which were also great. Do not skip the coconut cheesecake, it was probably my favorite cheesecake dessert in Tampa!

My wife and I had dinner here tonight and we were blown away. The atmosphere was incredible, and the food was amazing. We will be back this week to try more… there are so many great food options. Our server was also amazing, and everyone was so attentive. Waters were always filled, dirty plates taken the second we were done with something. I recommend this place if you want a great dining experience.

The place is really nice and trendy, the service is friendly and efficient. Unfortunately, the food is average at best and very expensive. All in all much better places in Tampa. Too bad, I really liked the vibe there.

Second time we have had Aaron as our server. He is the best and makes the evening even more enjoyable. Will now only request him.

Hinge match planned a dinner date to check out Sunda, and it was such a good time! From the ambiance, food, presentation and the phenomenal service (Ask for Ben!) Sunda is everything you could ask for.

Must order the roti tacos and the miso cauliflower

This place is amazing! The service is exceptional Aaron was our server and he was amazing! His attention to detail was impeccable. He truly made this a memorable experience and I will be back!

We had the most AMAZING time at Sunda! We went for an early dinner on a Saturday and were seated right away. The ambience in here was stunning. It’s a total vibe. The music is fun and the decor is beautiful.

The service was also incredible. Our server was Mathew and he was EXCELLENT! He was nice, attentive, patient, informative and knowledgeable about the entire menu. His recommendations were perfect and he made our whole entire dinner experience awesome.

Now on to the food, which was stellar! We ordered:
- miso soup: delicious as per usual with miso soup
- Korean chicken and pork belly steamed buns: delicious! The steamed buns were soooo light like clouds and the perfect amount of sweetness
- Salmon crudo: the salmon was soft like butter. And the sauce it was served in was the perfect amount of fresh, sour and spicy. It was our second favorite dish
- Crispy rice with spicy tuna and wagyu: both types of rice were delicious. The spicy tuna was fresh and the wagyu was soft as butter. True delicacies
- Bulgogi roti tacos: this was the STAR of the show. These were insane. The roti was so fluffy and buttery and the filling was incredible. Would order these again and again and again. Literally one of the best dishes I’ve ever had

The food specially sushi and the ambient was great. Price is on the high end but it is totally worth it.

Worse check in experience ever. We got a txt saying our table was ready but the checkin girl was too busy talking to her drunk friend who walked in last min for a table. About after 5 mins go by and we had to say something, they were too busy talking about their snapchats and memories while people are waiting.

Lack of training for sure and complete disregard for people’s time.

Absolutely amazing experience sat at the sushi bar and had 2 amazing people helping us out! Amazing dishes, amazing music and atmosphere and the kindest people. Definitely recommend to anyone and everyone new fav spot in the Tampa area!

Vibrant atmosphere and very popular! This place had it going on! Very busy with lots of beautiful people.however, the service was top notch and the food came out rather quickly! With a generous option of tapas style dishes you can take your pick at this Asian fusion venue. We started off with the bao buns and crispy fried rice. I did wish the rice was warm and a bit crispier, but nonetheless it was delicious and one of the best dishes we had. We had some sushi as well, and even though I don't think it's their forte, I loved the gimmick of the gamblers roll, where they had six pieces of sushi in a rotating plate, the catch is one of them was heavily topped with a ghost pepper hot sauce. It was spicy! And! You get a chip for a dessert on your next visit, very fun! We also had the ridiculous dessert, it was plenty for two and very satisfying! Check out the pics!

Food and service were very good. Food menu offers a lot of new flavors, was very happy with everything we ordered: Brussel sprouts, Himachi roll, szechuan chicken and some nigiri - all good!
Only two complaints
Saki - they mark Saki up almost 400%, 200 or 250%, acceptable. $65.00 for a bottle that retails for $18 is a ripoff.
Music - just a little too loud, don't expect to talk to your spouse, date or friends

Aaron was such a wonderful server! Such a great experience and food was very good. He was very knowledgeable about the menu too. Highly recommend! Try the dim sum pork belly and chicken and the lychee martini!

Went here tonight for the 1st time with a friend & the ambiance is wonderful. Greeted right away by the host & the server soon after. Menu is eclectic and unique. The server helped us choose an app & our entrees. Everything ordered was delicious & seasoned perfectly. We ordered the crispy rice spicy tuna & wagyu. Our entrees were Bulgogi tacos & Chicken Inasal with a drink. The food & drinks are a bit pricey but I believe it was worth it. We’ll definitely return. Lastly, the staff was truly attentive & sweet. Aaron, our server was amazing & the other server, Taylor was great too!

Way too loud, can’t talk to your date. Food is mediocre at best. Go for drinks but dinner is a waste

Aaron was amazing! We asked for his personal suggestions and everything he suggested we ordered and was spot on! The food was delicious. His service was impeccable. We will definitely be coming back. We ordered the chicken inasal, 1/2 crispy rice tuna / wagyu, and Bulgogi tacos.
