Sunny Insurance Agency LLC, Winter Springs FL

My loan officer at my mortgage company used this agency. The policy was supposed to be $1600 after closing and without warning the policy jumped to $5200. This agency does not answer the phone or return phone calls. After calling the insurance company directly I found out they put multiple discounts that do not apply to my older home and should have never been given to start with.

Some how even after me telling a live person and 2 people in an email I didn't want them to write a new policy. And that I had already changed companies. They wrote somehow got past the me signing it part and billed my mortgage company for the policy. Every email sent to me during the process I replied with do not write this. They sent an email for me to sign the new policy. I never signed it. Yet somehow it was still written and mortgage company paid. Had to then call a few times to get the policy canceled and a refund check issued.

I started with one representative (agent) with Sunny Insurance and then was switched to another agenent with no notificaiton. The new agent did not call me to discuss my new policy, I was emailed and then when I found errors on my application and needed her to correct it, she did, but once again I did not get a courtesy phone call or a text. The new agent sent an email to explain the change and increase in the policy. I think the communication from an insurance agency should still be verbal. Maybe I am old fashioned, but that is the reason why I gave it a 3 star.

Cary is awesome. They are response, provide very competitive rates, and I've held numerous policies with them and use them still to this day.
