I just recently purchased a car from Sunset Kia of Sarasota & I just wanted to share that my personal experience with this dealership was AMAZING! I cannot say enough positive things about this dealership! Everyone was so friendly & helpful, they were not pushy at all, like the majority of dealerships are. I was so nervous about purchasing a new car, but after meeting with & talking to our salesman Silvio he made the whole process smooth, easy & completely stress free! He answered all of my questions & concerns & completely put me at ease. I truly cannot thank you enough Silvio! I LOVE MY NEW KIA K5 GT-Line sooooooo much! I absolutely will be recommending this dealership to my friends & family! If you go to Sunset Kia, be sure to ask for Silvio!

My husband and I just had the absolute worst purchasing experience at this dealership. After weeks of searching for the trim and mileage of a certain vehicle, we scheduled an appointment to purchase it at 6pm the following day. The next day, our salesperson calls back to say the 160pt inspection is being completed and the vehicle won't be ready until the following day. I asked him if there was any way we could expedite as my husband already took off work for the appointment since were coming from 2 hours away, to which he said they could and the vehicle would be clean and ready to leave the lot when we arrived. When we got to the dealership at our appointment time, another customer was test driving the vehicle. Our salesman said do not worry, we have first dibs due to the set appointment. Once we get back inside to start the purchasing process, we were advised the other customer paid in cash and the vehicle is no longer available. Needless to say, we were completely stunned and disappointed- but the situation got much more upsetting as the sales manager, Antony McCatty, came over to sarcastically tell us we should have arrived earlier. I explained I offered to place a down-payment over the phone before we made the 2 hour trip down, but that our salesman said that was not necessary and the vehicle will be ready for us. Antony followed up by saying, 'Do you have a bill of sale? No? Tough luck. ' It's obvious that integrity and professionalism are not present at this dealership. I hope that no other future buyers have to experience what we did.

Great experience from start to finish! Sunset Kia is a Good and honest dealership. We would def recommend Silvio to anyone in the market looking for a Kia.

I took my car (2017 Sportage) for maintenance, they pointed out some items that needed to be changed, I gave my OK. They called me after performing maintenance saying my car needed a new engine and that KIA would cover it as it was under warranty. Well, it's been 3 months since my car has been parked at KIA and nothing happens. They say that "it's a priority", that the engine can arrive at any time, that as soon as it arrives in 2 days the car will be ready. I depend on the car to work, my daughter will be born in 2 months and I will still be without my car?

Dan the salesman at Kia was exceptional in helping us to find the right car to suit our needs. He was very courteous at all times and very knowledgeable in the car that we chose to buy, which was a Telluride EX. Dan even set up the car for us and paired our phones to get all the media functions in the car working perfectly and set the tire pressures at the correct amount, as on the test drive they were a little high. We could not have asked more. Dan is an absolute credit to the Kia dealership.

I also would like to mention Anthony the sales manager, who was also extremely helpful both in completing and helping us understand all the paperwork for the cash sale transaction.

I have leased three different Kia automobiles from this dealership over the past six years as well as had all my required servicemaintenance performed at the dealership for over six years. This Kia dealership is the head-and-shoulders above any brand of automobile dealership in the Sarasota area. I have shopped at several dealership for various cars in this area and no other dealership treats its customers as well as at Sunset Kia of Sarasota. Every person at the dealership from the GM to the newest member of the dealership will treat you with both courtesy and fairness from the time you walk on to the property. I have had my cars serviced there, and it is the same way with their service department as to being respected and informed by each member of their service team on what is happening with your vehicle. I make it a point both to listen and watch during my visits, and NEVER have I seen anyone who was not totally satisfied with the service provided at the dealership. When you purchase or lease a vehicle at the dealership, the sales agent will take the time to explain to you the various features of the car, make it a point to explain the differences among the various models if you are not familiar with the Kia product, and follow up after the sale or lease to make sure you are satisfied with your purchase. If you are tired of haggling and “bait and switch” with the purchase or lease of a vehicle, and a Kia is your choice, start your search at this dealership first, and save yourself time, effort and money.

Sean in Sales was so great with me and finding the perfect Kia for what I need for me and my kids. Every step of the way was very helpful and clear and didn’t have any confusion in any step of the process. Sunset Kia and Sean made buying a car actually enjoyable.

Sean was great and super helpful when we were buying our new Sportage. It's a great dealership where everyone we interacted with was very nice, and unlike other dealerships we went to first there were no random fees and charges and costly dealer add-ons to jack up the price. The process felt very honest and straightforward. We plan to use them to install some upgrades to the car.

We were able to get our new Telluride with no pressure. Salesman, Dan Guthrie was great. Called to follow up after to make sure all was good. This is our second car from Sunset Kia, the ONLY dealership I will go to. Thx a second time.
