I've been a customer for over 9 years here.purchased a new 2015 Optima from them. As is my normal MO, I purchase new and then take it to the dealership for all service (except tires), so that they have 100% of the records and responsibility.

The initial purchase transaction was great.first time I honestly felt like I'd received a good deal from a car buying experience (it may have helped that I had previously worked for another KIA dealership in the same family, but whatever).

For the first couple of years, I always had the same service advisor and he was fantastic. Again, I felt like they were being honest with me and not just trying to sell service I didn't really need. For instance, they would tell me that they would recommend something but that it wasn't urgent and could be done next time (or the time after) that I was in, rather than the drama of you have to get this done right now.

Shortly after I purchased my car, the GM left to take over another dealership that was failing, and soon after the salesman who had been promoted also left. Since I wasn't in the market to make another purchase yet, no biggie. Then my service advisor left (due to some personal issues, so I understood).

Since then, it has been a rotating door of service advisors, none of which has seemed to last more than about 6 months. This, in and of itself isn't necessarily a bad thing but neither is it good. Fortunately, the quality of work seemed to remain consistent so I continued to return.

Until about 3 weeks ago when I needed what would probably be some moderate to major service.in addition to a regular service (oil change, etc) I needed to have the starter system examined/repaired due to random difficulty in starting the car along with probably having the A/C system flushed and reprimed (which I had previously been told was $600-700 minimum, even though local repair shops are well under $500 for the same thing). So, with all of this work needing to be done I called to schedule an appointment. Apparently there were no service advisors available because I was dumped into someone's voice mail. After leaving a message, I assumed I would hear back later that day. Nope, 2 weeks and no follow-up. During that same period, I also tried calling again but once again was sent to voicemail rather than being able to talk to someone.

The final straw was when after these 2 weeks I sent the service manager an e-mail, and copied the new GM, about the lack of response. Guess what the response to that was? Yep. NOTHING (from either the service manager or GM). It must be really nice to be so busy that you don't have time to respond to a long-time customer.

So, I cannot and will not recommend this dealership.

Edited to add: not too long after posting this review (maybe a couple of hours). My phone started blowing up with calls from the service advisor and GM.interesting timing.

I just bought new car from there, it was the only car available there but it was the car i was looking for, it was kind of expensive little and I understand that but people was very sweet, my consultant was Andy, he was very nice man, he takes care of everything! And one young lady helped little

I had a fantastic experience with this Sunset Kia of Venice! Chase was the salesperson who worked with me and I highly recommend him. He was friendly, informed, and helpful every step of the way. I found a car that I love and the process from start to finish was quick and painless. Everyone else I encountered there was friendly and helpful, too. Thanks!

Have had fantastic service on some minor repairs. Jeremy was instrumental in fixing my car quickly and economically. Glad I bought my Kia Soul.

I went to this dealership on Saturday with my grandfather because he was purchasing a new car and I was trading mine in. The whole team that was there was super nice especially Andy and the finance guy named Kenny. They helped and were very patient my 90 year old grandfather with getting his new car sorted out, and they were both very nice in assisting me with my needs! 100/10 recommend going to this location to purchase a new car! Great customer service, patience, understanding, and explaining. Great job Kia and get Andy and Kenny a promotion!

Overpaid to get my air conditioning repaired at Kia, and then less than two years later it stopped working. I brought it to a repair shop and they showed me all of the sloppy work that had been done at Kia. The Kia tech didn’t even screw the cap back on, so the fluid leaked out and caused the issue. Go to Tuffy for your service needs in Venice. Better price and better service!

This was the best experience I’ve ever had when picking out a car. Erik was my sales man and he sold me a brand new 2023 Kia Sorento. I love it! Everybody there was super helpful. He answered all of our questions and no matter how many times we asked about something, he was always polite. Hanna is the finance manager and she did all our paperwork with us and was amazing as well! They made sure my car was PERFECT for me to take home.
110% recommend this dealership!
