Sunshine Car Wash, Clearwater FL

I have been going here for a couple of years and was pleasantly surprised. However, the last 2 washes have been awful! For $30, I don’t expect perfection, however, I do expect to not have to return home to clean my vehicle I just had washed. The black pieces by my windows, they used some product that I cannot get off. I do not ever use armor all or any of the such. My vehicle is a 2019, very well cared for and only 20,000 miles. The inside of vehicle was somewhat vacuumed, the NAV screen & dash had dust, and the interior console area was not touched either time. Right before calling that my vehicle was done, the lady went around and was I using window cleaner on my vehicle surfaces for areas she noticed, although I guess she gave up as you can see what remains. I will be searching for another car wash and will recommend to others I encounter on a daily basis to not use this place. They would do just as well if they sprayed water from a hose and used a dirty rag to semi wipe it down. Very disappointed.

I just left there getting my truck cleaned. I had to have them redo the rims, door jams and after that I just left. Seats are still filthy. I would recommend going somewhere else. These new owners don’t take pride in it.

I love this place they treat u good here and the cars are very well maintained and they do a great job Alabama she is a great person and does a great job we my car and my wife car I will always come back here.

I had to come on this site and WARN people! I am extremely picky as to who washes my Truck and what type of wax and chemicals they use to get my black on black Ram to POP! Im here to warn you that “Bama” one of the managers at this establishment was one of the most knowledgeable, courteous, professional (not pushy) “car people” I have met. I literally just came in for a quick rinse of the pollen, but after hearing what Bama had to say… I ended up getting a full claybar exfoliation and hand wax detail. I wish I took a picture of the final result, because this picky guy was extremely impressed. Sunshine car wash now has my business as long as Bama is there. Thanks again for making “FENRIR” my Viking wolf truck get all cleaned up after battle! Highly recommended! I also hear they are opening an “express” version. Well done. 10 s all day!

Just bought my new car was my first wash on Friday the manager and the accountant lady promised to me they are going to talk to the owner to fix the problem went back on Monday got bucks stain on my car dosen't come off worst experience I told them if they don't fix the problem I'm going to have my attorney to resolve the matter the worse experience I ever had washing the car

Excellent. Exceeded expectations. Did a phenomenal job of totally cleaning vehicle with incredible attention to detail and cost was like 33.00 or something. Incredible value. Would highly recommend.

I have use them for many years but since they have changed hands they do awful work. They vacuum my mats but did not vacuum under them. Did not get the dirt off
My windows, did not get all the dirt off the back of my car and I paid over $35 to have my car cleaned. So I would not recommend them. SORRY tried to call them and could not get through to them.

I'd like to start this review by stating what a fantastic service this company provides. I live in Clearwater & continue to use Sunshine Car Wash as my go to for auto cleaning. Every single time I go I am greeted by Alabama. Over the repeated visits I make month after month I have become quite comfortable with pulling in for service & seeing her and her crew. I'm always pleased with the results of the service as well as the friendly & inviting attitude by this establishment. I will continue to use Sunshine Car Wash & would encourage anyone to go see Alabama for your auto washing & detailing needs. 5 stars!

This was my first time ever having my car detailed. I chose #4 and added on having the mats cleaned. Thank you so much! You guys did a great job. It was a bit busy, so I waited just under an hour. To be expected at a place with great service! So I didn't mind.

I love coming here, the hospitality and service are great and i always go when it never busy and it’s done in 10 min, alabama is always super friendly and kind, i can always trust her with my car and service?

There seems to be a real inconsistency with the quality and speed of the workers. The slower individuals tend to bog down the entire system, making a full service car wash taking about twice as long than it should. I am giving this place 4 stars to respect the people that worked on my truck that actually ate good team members.perhaps management should consider getting rid of the non-workers, paying the good workers better, and increase efficiency.

Stopped just before close, of which i was unaware, asked for one of their top packages, she said sure, but we close in 3 minutes, i said oh no, just give me the basics, she said it was no problem to give me what I asked, even offered to clean my floor mats! She did an excellent job even those it was time to close. My car looked almost brand new inside! I was so impressed! I will definetely be back and recommend to friends!

I never leave disappointed, amazing customer service. The women who has run this place for 13 years has kept it efficient and always a friendly environment with hard working staff. Go in there if you want a great outcome in a timely manner.

This used to be the best car wash in town. I would happily drive there and sit in line while the many workers were taking care of the customers. It was recently sold and the new management only has a few workers there who are SLOW! So slow I would rather go to a drive through DIY place. I don’t have 2 hours to sit and wait while there’s only 2 cars in front me. Unacceptable. I can’t imagine how much business they’re losing simply because they’re so slow. 2 stars instead of 1 because they do a good job if you want to waste 2 hours of your day.

I’ve been using the place for almost 8 years for my 4 family cars, my brothers cars and company cars and never had any important issues. I was just there and a very rude evil lady with glasses which was first time I see here let other people crossing the line when I was there waiting in line for 15 minutes and more. I gently asked why and she yelled on me “that’s how I do”. I told her that I’m leaving and I left! Never again! Zero customer service!

Very pleasant experience. The wash and clean was really detailed. Very welcoming. The staffs are really professional and hard working. Went on a weekday it was less crowded. The service was pretty fast. Price was reasonable. After wash they did a towel dry too. They have a nice waiting area too. Would love to visit again.

Car was detailed fine, but listening to the girl behind the counter repeatedly cussing out the workers and storming in and out and you could hear the four letter words repeatedly was uncomfortable and unprofessional. I have gone here for years now and this experience was the worst ever. And it was multiple times while I was there.

Went yesterday got the number #4 and when it was all finished the I asked the guy who said the car was done to clean something he said I’m not doing that you do it which I got the rag from him and did it my self in other words go to the new car washes that’s there building and do it your self because there too lazy and half asz your car.

After reading reviews I was concerned what my experience would be so I watched the process. My car was immediately dried when it came out of the wash. 2 gentlemen worked on the interior and were merticulous in their work. My car looked beautiful. The only thing I didn’t like was my windshield was inspected and I was told there was a crack by an independent co I did not ask for this service and didn’t care to discuss it. To end on a positive note I noticed a residue on the hood and took my car back and met Alabama. If you read the other reviews you will see how well she represents her company. She took care of my issue, asked my name and asked me to come back. Job well done!

I have been coming to this car wash for years. It was always wonderful. The last two times I came here the service was horrible. The cars are not taken in the order they arrive, there is no system and many cars were put ahead of mine in line to finish. I waited over an hour for a simple car wash and vacuum. This is not at all the quality car wash it used to be.
