Sunshine Village, Lakeland FL

We moved there about 3 years ago we just moved out first we was told if you live there we can’t work as Maintance now they have new guy working there that lives there. If they don’t like you you’ll have a hard time there even Maintenance antagonizes children if kids play loud music he hand them violation and laughs at them afterwards. And then plays loud music in his truck revs the engine to make his exhaust loud nice role model childish if you ask me. They have water turn off almost twice a month due to main water break property management never responds to emails and text. When you have issues and need to call after hours don’t expect a call from them or anyone to help you you’re pretty much on your own. Kids in there are rude and very disrespectful they start problems with your kids or you even assaults like to get involved and make things worse wrong place to go to DO NOT LIVE THERE they break things at pool/ clubhouse and raise your rent even if you had nothing to do with it. I rather live in my car in peace than live there again. Discrimination they nitpick whatever you do that’s a problem it ain’t a problem for others to do. Try to make new rules when they can’t control the older rules good luck if you dare to move there

After multiple phone calls to look at a couple of lots my phone call wasn't returned back. I drove from Palm harbor to look at a couple of lots I was interested on purchasing upon my arrival I noticed it was Clean and maintenence man showed to the club house which is locked I was greeted upon stepping in after knocking. I stated what I was interested on and she quickly turned down me looking at any property and they wanted licensed property investors and wouldn't sale me anything even thow I have to the funds for repairs. Which doesn't state what type of sale purchaser they are looking for.

I moved here less than 2 months ago. My experience has been great. The property is well managed and maintained. The pool is well maintained and the playground is perfect for my son. The office has always been great, starting with my initial visit. This is my first experience in a manufactured home community. Amber has been incredibly helpful with all of my questions and assisted me any time I've needed help. She made the process very simple and pain free. Anyone looking to live in the area, should be sure to come check this community out. The review from someone a month prior to mine seems to be from someone with a personal issue with the office. I have a 6 year old son. He rides his bike in the parking lot almost daily under my supervision, uses the playground daily and loves going to the pool. We have never encountered issues such as broken bottles, used condoms, mean dogs or nails in the streets or overflow parking area. The teens can get loud at the pool and use profanity, but my experience has been to speak to them and remind them of the rules that they've been respectful and complied whenever I've spoken with them.

This place is terrible. The staff is rude and takes them forever to email or call back takes them forever to fix anything. Save your money do not move in there.

Sunshine village is a great place to live it’s definitely one of the cleanest and well maintained trailer park communities I’ve lived in. All the people that live here are very nice and everyone is to themselves I have no problems with nosy neighbors and you don’t have to worry about anybody stealing anything from your property cause everyone looks out for each other. Management is awesome here! Vicky is great she has helped my family and I since day one that we moved in here. She will help you to the fullest on any situation that you have in the community. I’m definitely making sunshine village a permanent home for my family and I. Thank you Vicky for everything you do!

Sunshine Village is great! I have lived here for two years. I feel safe here WHICH IS VERY IMPORTANT TO ME! The pool area was recently renovated which is very nice! Lots of families in here which is great also. I appreciate this park. Everyone is very kind and welcoming and I have no nosey neighbors which is a win also! Everyone pretty much keeps to themselves.
Vicky is extremely helpful and has always taken care of any questions/concerns I’ve had. I love Sunshine Village and I don’t plan on leaving anytime soon especially with the high cost of rent everywhere else! As long as you follow the rules, maintain your yard (which is important to me also), and pay your rent on time and FOLLOW THE RULES they really don’t bother you at all! I’m not sure why everyone is saying they don’t know how to pay their rent. Immediately, I was given a link online with my username and password to pay my rent and have religiously paid online since I moved in. I’ve lived many places and dealt with bothersome landlords and they aren’t like that, trust me! 5 ️s

I've lived in this community for some time now. I can say it is a good place to live. The staff is very professional and will taken care of any problems you might have very quickly.

Great Community to live in. Vicky is the best. She is always looking out for the community.

I moved in here in January. Didnt sign the lease untill towards the end of Febuary. No one has told me where to go to pay the lot rent. I called never received a call back. They charged me 75.00 late charge last month. Some of the noise in here is terrible. Still dont know where to go to pay my lot rent. HELP
