Sunstate Fence did an incredible job after my fence was destroyed by Ian. The staff in the office were professional & patient with all my questions. Sadly Lee County permit department took their sweet time approving the permit. But in the end I am very happy with the job Sunstate did! I HIGHLY recommend them for fence work.

Hurricane Ian took out my wood fence, and after a year I finally found someone to do replacement. I can't express how happy I am with the final outcome. Installer crew worked hard and did a fantastic job. From office personnel to installers, professional, polite, and awesome to work with. Thank you.

I highly recommend Sunstate Fence. Marleni in the office is very pleasant and is always available to answer any questions. The installers were wonderful, worked so hard and you can tell that they take pride in their work. They even washed the fence and cleaned up all their tools/trash etc. Please let the guys know how much we appreciate their hard work!

I could go on and on but sorry I have to go hang out in my backyard now with my kids and dog and enjoy our new fence!

They can put up a fence, no problem.but if they hit your water line, you have to pay for it.and if you need them quick for a repair thats not happening.iverall experience wasn't bad.but for repairs, they aren't very efficient or communicate well

Beware this company is no longer Sunstate Fence- they have been bought out by Fence Direct. Customer service is not as good as it once was and even though I've been using Sunstate for 6 years they refused to repair my gate because it was less than $1500.

This is the 2nd fence I had put in by Sunstate. They do an EXCELLENT job. I had a big job. They had to remove a plastic fence that was destroyed by the hurricane. They took all the old post and debris and installed a new chain link fence. Fence is perfectly level and looks GREAT. They removed all of the old fence and got rid of it. They are neat. They will not leave a mess behind. The staff is friendly and easy to work with. Thank you Sunstate Fence. May GOD bless the company and its employees

The installers did a great job repairing storm damaged chain-link fencing along the canal front where there is no seawall, only mangroves. They also repaired vinyl fencing along each side of the lot.

Sunstate completed repairs to our Ian damaged fence. They completed the repairs in a timely fashion. We are pleased with the quality of their work and the willingness and ability of the installers to assist with minor adjustments. Thank you Sunstate!

Install crew damaged an irrigation line and after I fixed it they only offered 20% of the cost as a credit.
The management reached out to me after this incident and offered to compensate me for the total cost of my repairs. They seemed genuinely concerned with my full satisfaction and they certainly impressed me with their integrity.

Thank you for the cookie cutter response to my honest review. First off, the crew that came out didn’t speak a word of English and had to rehand my gate because they did it wrong and when I called about it, I received the most callous response from the manager and I even told them they left a mess and a half bag of concrete on my yard which is now in my garage due to their not following up.

Would not repair my fence after Ian! Minimum charge which was almost the same as my original fence. Price gouging after Ian for sure! Stay away!

I would not recommend this company to anyone wanting a professional fence put on their property. The only reason we chose them is because we heard good things in our neighborhood. We found out today that they were recently bought out by another company, which is why things weren’t so good for us. Keep this in mind when reading reviews.

The crew they sent showed up late, & didn’t know how to put the posts in a straight line & 5 inches off the property line, like the contract said, so we had to help them get started. There was a major barrier in communication since the crew’s boss was the only one who could translate English to the crew, and he was never there when it was needed. The crew left cooked food bones of some kind everywhere for our dogs to find later that night (and for days following.a huge choking hazard). After they finished installing the fence, we noticed a large hole at the bottom of the fence where it did not reach the ground. The fence also only measured 5'8'. We called them and they gave us the runaround saying they would contact us. They never contacted us. We called them several different times over the span of 3 weeks, with the same result. We also sent them various pictures of the fence that was thoughtlessly built. Someone finally came over to look at the fence, and by the end of the week they sent someone to fix the side where the hole was. The guy who did this work was very nice, professional and understanding. The company itself is horribly unprofessional and obviously does not take any pride in what they do. They barely did a price adjustment at all which nowhere near made up for their gross negligence. We recommend to avoid this company so you can have a better experience and hopefully better fence than we do.

Sunstate Fence Co. Installed my vinyl and chainlink fence in 2016. I was satisfied with the price and work. October 2022, I called regarding an estimate for repairs caused by hurricane Ian. I spoke to Lacey and she informed me that they are scheduled out until March, and she will put me on the schedule. I called several times since to see if they had any cancellations. Each time I was told they did not and I was on the schedule for March. I called again on 2.1.2023 and was told by Lacey that I was scheduled for March 8th and brian would call me the morning of March 8th. I Received a call from brian later in the day of 2.1.2023 and he informed me that that didn't want to take me on as a customer. He refused to tell me why and told me he didn't have to tell me. I asked him then why did you make me wait since October to tell me. The answer brian gave me was he didn't have to.

While the installation was satisfactory, follow through and service lacks customer service. Buyer beware.
