A real hidden gem of a deal. The place was no different from the more expensive hotels in the area

The bathroom wasn't clean enough, good location for staying 1 or 2 nights, nice american breakfast included. The staff is polite and attentive thanks guys.

Be careful. I reserved through Priceline. A continental breakfast was a guaranteed amenity. Hot waffles but no milk or cold cereal, grrrr. The 1 star breakfast was a disappointment and left a bad taste.

Overall this was a very decent hotel to sleep in. The room was clean but with a few hiccups (hair behind toilet.coins under bench.mold) Also sounded like someone was moving furniture upstairs all night. Breakfast was okay.

PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING AT THIS PLACE!: I have stayed at every Hotel within a 25 mile radius of this 'Super 8' for the past 3 years (for work) except for Gainesville 'Super 8'. Recently, I finally gave it a shot despite the terrible reviews ranging from filthy bedsheets, atrocious behavior of staff, to absolute 'horror stories' from other guests. Eventually, my wife told me, "it can't be that bad". Well, it was, and then some. We finally checked in after seeing the elder 'host'/check-in clerk' lurking over the pool area (and I mean 'lurking') where a family was enjoying themselves, which in hindsight should have been a red flag. Anyhow, We get to our room. I go back to work, within an hour my wife calls me and I hear 'over the phone' this man yelling at my wife over her asking about the $10 fee for pets, in which it states on their website. At this point, after hearing what he had said to my wife, we were obviously not even interested in staying at this roach motel. I immediately showed up with my lawyer on speaker, etc. Overall, the only thing I can do is offer sound advice, It may seem cheaper at the moment, even if its just for a few days. Unfortunately, the fact is, this location (not all Super-8 motels) is known for ripping off honest, hard-working ppl who thought, "it can't be that bad. "

Exceeded my expectations. The breakfast was not sufficient. The room was clean and comfortable. Great for the price.

This hotel scammed me and my girlfriend out of $250! They have a no smoking policy that we did not break and they still charged our card 250 and when we called they had no desire to fix their mistake instead they called us liars and had no proof that we smoked in the rooms! Terrible business we continue to call and they just tell us something different every time saying the manager will be in at a certain time but when we call at that time someone will tell us that he will be in at a different time, I didn’t have a Terrible experience there it wasn’t the dirtiest nor cleanest the house keeping was decent from what I seen if anyone has the owners number or information I would love to solve this misunderstanding I don’t want it to get farther than this I will say that it is very unprofessional and next time I come I will for sure look at every other option before I come back here and get scammed

Mold in bathroom tub! Sickening and disrespectful! I can't wait to check out of here. Praying there's no bed bugs as others have mentioned.

The lady at check was very nice.

The room was okay and recently updated and it was quiet. But the breakfast was mediocre at best. Mostly it was the staff that was disappointing. Not terribly interested in accommodating you and no one appeared to actually want to be there. I'm so glad it didn't work out but I inquired about extending my stay and I was told I had to pay another $150 deposit and rebook. There's a Sleep Inn by Choice next door. Stay there. A mere $15 deposit versus $150 at Super 8 and when we booked with them directly, they basically matched the Super 8 rates and the experience is not even comparable.

I would not recommend staying at this hotel to anybody if you have Any type of lung issues this hotel will harm you. If you have children with asthma this will make them. Seriously ill. When I asked for a different room or for a refund. They told me no because I had already been there for 3 hours when. I noticed how moldy this room was. At which point I had to sleep here because they had $200 of my money would not return it and I couldn't afford to go somewhere else. I woke up this morning and I couldn't breathe properly. I've been coughing all morning I coughed half of the night stay away from this establishment it's dangerous. The gentleman with the long white hair at the front desk acts very entitled and does not care about his customers at all. The younger gentleman who works there at night's typically he has gaged ears told me that he would get in trouble if he moved me to another. Room and attempted to try to clean the mold off of the curtains above the AC window with water.

Toilet overflowing, stopped up, was not checked before giving a key to the room. Room smelled like pet urine. Receptionist assured no pets are allowed on my floor. Gaslit me. Sure enough, shortly thereafter, a guest with a big dog spotted next door over. They will look you in the eye and lie to you. Receptionist Stephen was consistently stepping out so it was extremely difficult to get a refund. Manager put me on hold, didn’t want to listen, and personally hung up on me before having the opportunity to report everything. It feels no longer about the customer, everything is at convenience of the staff.

Very convenient location, close to the highway and less than 15 minutes to Univ. Of Florida.
Rooms were clean, bed too soft for my tastes. Loved the fresh baked cookies in the lobby! Water and lemonade also available in the lobby during the day. For the money, it's a nice place to stay.

The immediate upstairs guests woke up at 6 a.m. And I could hear them walking about. The floors are super thin. During breakfast, the manager/owner was hovering over the area. He stocked the minimal amount of food, so it ran out. It felt like he was watching the guests. He was not warm and fuzzy.
