I discovered this small place today and will be back. The food is DELICIOUS, the place is pretty, clean and with nice decoration. The service was also very kind. You won't be disappointed. Our plates were empty as you can see, but there are plenty of other pictures of the food:)

I absolutely love their Fish Kettle Roll! It's my absolute favorite thing on the menu. It's one of the few places that gives you lots of sashimi in the rolls. This particular one is mostly sashimi with very little rice. I love that it's spiced up with the chili oil. It's a fantastically fresh roll with tuna, salmon, escolar, and yellowtail inside the roll and on top of it. It's great for those who love more fish than rice. It's worth every penny. The nigiri are also very good quality. I've had all kinds from there in the past. They serve you one piece to each order and it's priced accordingly. I had the scallop and the salmon nigiri this last visit. The scallop was very large, and not cut up into pieces which was nice. I've had other menu items including the kitchen entrees. All have been good but it's hard for me to pass up that roll.

It appears that they've done another renovation since the last time I was there. I could have sworn that the sushi bar was in front as you first walk in, but now it's to the right. It looks like they have more seating which is great. The restaurant is always very clean, but maybe a little dark. I wish it was a little brighter. The service has always been great. I got my pot of hot green tea which made me very happy. So many sushi places nowadays don't use a teapot. They just give you a cup with a tea bag, and refill your water. It's annoying. I'm so happy that they don't do that here. I also love that they give you a little guava candy with your check at the end of the meal. It's really wonderful. Way better than a chocolate mint.

I'm glad I got reacquainted with Sushi Kampai. It has been a while since I've been back. One day I will try the Fire Mountain Roll. It's another popular roll that people seem to love here.

The place doesn’t look like a great thing from the outside, however, as soon as you walk in, you will find a cozy restaurant. The service is great, the server advice is about the spice foods and she came back to check if the spice level was good, which it was. Also, because it is not a huge place, you will get your food in a normal frame time. We ask for a miso soup and Rangoon as appetizer and it was very good. The entrees were Mongolian Beef, and 2 sushi: volcano and orgasm (yep, that is the name) and everything was delicious. It has been one of the best sushi places I’ve seen in the area and the prices are great (let’s be honest, they are sushi places that you walk out without an arm, a leg and still hungry), but here, we were able to eat all for $70 ($54 of food and taxes and $16 of tip).
Definitely a place to repeat!

Polite and caring service, delicious, fresh food, and the recreation of the quintessential Japanese dining experience. One of the best restaurants in the area. Even better that the hibachi places!

Just ordered this delicious Mountain Fire special roll with seaweed salad & can’t tell you how tasty it is. I order sushi from this place every Friday & never been disappointed once. Highly recommend & hope the owner keep up the quality & good work!

This is our go to for Asian food. Always fresh and tasty. Some of our favorites are the Mongolian Beef, Spicy Cream Chicken, and Chicken Fried Rice. From my experience, they are kind and appreciate their customers. Once after a long day of work, I went in to pick up my food and was so exhausted. The lady asked how my day was and I told her I was exhausted. She came back with a free coke for me to “give me some energy”. It was really sweet and made my day.

We have been coming to this place weekly/bi-weekly for the past 6 years and really enjoy this sushi restaurant. Attentive staff, the main chef always says hello as you walk in and his wife is the sweetest woman you will meet! Lots of good options for anyone - whether you like raw fish or hibachi style meal. Our boys used to substitute certain things in their rolls due to their age, but employees have never given us a hard time because of it. Now our boys order 2-3 rolls each with no substitutions and we don't even need to look at the menu. These owners are like a family to us. Love this place and highly recommend to anyone who's up for good fresh sushi in the Brandon area. 5 stars!

Love this place. Fresh fishes, tasty dishes. If you are a garlic lover also love spicy food, you must try the “spicy garlic edamame”. I can turn myself to be a vegetarian for that dish.

“Osaka roll” and “Orgasm Roll” are our go to rolls with shrimp tempura, spicy salmon, spicy tuna, cream cheese, and avocado all good stuff inside. Yummy

The food is to die for. My daughter and I go for lunch special. We have tried their bento box and all if the ones we tried are delicious. Staff is very blend and sad. They should work on better greetings.

Best place hands down! Service is perfect. Would definitely recommend the Kampai roll and suicide roll if you like spicy food. Onion soup is delicious and the spicy cream chicken and mongolian beef is amazing.

I always enjoy anything and everything I eat here! Always top quality and fresh sushi. I eat sushi regularly at different spots that I like and choose this restaurant as my number one because they always treat me like family. I like to order baby octopus, surf clam, and the chef special for lunch! I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

We ordered take out and 10 minutes after we drove away from the restaurant they called and asked us to drive back because they forgot something. They didn’t apologize or anything for the inconvenience, really rude attitude and bad service!

Everything was very tasty. Prices are good. Friendly staff, especially the waitress we had. It was definitely a pleasure to meet and talk with her. Overall, I liked it, I'll be back very soon!

Where do I start? !? !? ! Our service, food and waitress was GREAT! The portions were satisfying and plentiful! The different types of sushi were outstanding! My favorite was the Orgasm Roll. Will go back real soon

First time going here and I ordered to go for lunch. I stupidly asked for eel sauce after I paid. They wouldn’t recharge my card the. 50 cents so I could get my sauce for my sushi. A customer even offered to pay for it but that was ignored.
They should have a sign or have that written on their menu

First time here and i have to say it didn't disappoint. The executive roll was amazing. Ser ice was good too. We'll be back for sure to try some other plates.

The staff is really kind and friendly. The food is great. I tried the pear sake. It was really good. Was waiting for some friends to pick me up and sat there for longer than a typical customer and they were so kind about it. Very appreciative of the service here.

On Google they have a picture of their full menu but when you call the pricing is completely different. I just ordered 5 spicy tuna rolls, 3 California rolls, and 3 miso soups which would come to $48.50 plus tax based on the Google menu price, I was then told the price was 62.50 and the internet is wrong. I even asked if she would adjust the price if i showed her what i saw and she said no.very disappointed
