Sushi Katana, Orlando FL

This place was so warm and welcoming! The server, Ken was attentive and kind. We had three kids under three in a group of 8 and he was so patient. The food was fresh and flavorful, and the service was relatively quick. We ordered the sushi boat, ginger shrimp and shrimp and scallops. Their shrimp were cooked particularly well. On our way out, he left us with a blessing in honor of the coming new year. Highly recommend!

This is my FAVORITE sushi spot. I don’t eat sushi anywhere else bc the others disappoint. When I lived in Kissimmee I drove to Orlando to get my Volcano roll and Big H. The food is always on point.

Fantastic place! The sushi was very fresh and delicious. Lots of options, big menu. They have something for everyone! Shared the Umi Boat with my dad and it was worth every penny! It came with 4 sides, you can pick soup or salad. Super good!

First and foremost, I have to commend the sushi chef, Anton. He truly exceeded our expectations by creating the best sushi I have ever had the pleasure of tasting. Eh it was okay. Place was small and wait was long for an underwhelming meal. Definitely better sushi places around. The sushi itself was subpar. Even their signature roll was not good at all. The thing I found the most strange was the server added a mandatory 18% gratuity on a table of 4 adults, which was split on two checks, one for each couple. Clearly they didn't think we were children who wouldn't know how to tip, since we were not carded when getting a glass of wine. As a former server myself, mandatory gratuity is only for large groups or parties. Not 2 or 4 people. Well jokes on you, we would have tipped more than that. And as others have said, they do fill your drinks too much. Normally I like an attentive refill, but to come by when your glass is 90% full and fill your glass half an Inch to make it full to the brim is just excessive and interrupts your meal too much.

I've only been to this location once, but absolutely loved it when I was there! The food, service, and atmosphere was amazing! It's always pretty packed, especially during lunch hours, but it's totally worth it.

I'm just going to rate the sunomo salad, I just got the sunomo salad through the doordash app but I got a there was only 2 pieces of krab and octopus the rest was only cucumber I was really dissapointed

This is one of my favorite places. The sushi here tests so good. They have a great happy hour deal, buy 2 rolls and get one free. Highly recommended, my personal favorite is the tsunami roll which is a signature roll from this place.

Not very impressive! The fried rice was dry, and so was the steak teriyaki! Sushi rolls were fire though so I’ll give them that!

Update: went back on 09/12 and they must’ve had a change of management or staff or both because the steak teriyaki lunch combo with ginger salad was off the hook. Flavorful, well cooked and fresh. Definitely returning again!

This place is a must! As a seasoned traveler and self proclaimed foodie, I thought the food was delightfully tasty and absolutely fresh. Truly enjoyed both the dining experience and the service, which was amazing! Thank you for a memorably delicious experience!

Friends introduced me to this place. I don't eat fish and they were right that I would find good food without fish. Was so good I brought family there for a birthday.

Was my first and last time, the food was ok but was 9 pm 1 hour before they close and our server started clean the floor with a very strong product that my sensation was I was eating in the bathroom. I lost my appetite and my eyes started burning after that She has a lot tables to clean and she came to clean one by our side. I’m on my way home and my eyes are very red.

Service was Great Kit took treat care of us. He helped me with creating a choosing my rolls since I have a shellfish allergy. Love coming here.
