Sushi Masa Lakeland

The all-you-can-eat was definitely it. Michael, our serve, was very knowledgable and patient with the kids. They really enjoyed him too.

Some of the best sushi I have had. The fried Oreos were amazing as well. The service from start to finish was amazing! Leenie or server was awesome and we will come back!

Came on a Friday night and got in after a short wait time. Lance was incredible and did such a great job explaining the menu. He was attentive and loved his attitude! Food came out fast and everything so delicious. 10/10 recommend!

UPDATE: We came back to give it another shot. I ordered ala carte but it wasn't much better. I had been previously told by the staff here that the rolls ordered ala carte are bigger than the ones for all you can eat. They most definitely ARE NOT.in fact, one of the rolls (eggplant tempura) was only 5 pieces with no indication of that on the menu. This place continues to underwhelm.

My husband and I went during their soft opening. There were a few hiccups, but really nothing major or even worth mentioning. The biggest issue we had was our waitress leaving in the middle of my husband ordering time and time again. He would tell her a few items, and she would walk away. He didn't actually get to eat until he was full, but rather just ate until he was tired of flagging down the waitress. I also ordered tempura eggplant with no issue, but when I ordered the tempura eggplant roll, I was told they were out after waiting and waiting and finally asking the waitress if it was still coming out. The sashimi pieces are all embarrassingly small, so make sure you order multiples. The sushi was pretty good overall. We also ordered the steak and chicken teriyaki, but it was tiny, overcooked pieces of meat with no seasoning and some teriyaki sauce globbed on top before it was brought to the table. If you have someone in your party who only eats cooked food and won't eat sushi, this probably isn't the place to bring them. The restaurant was clean and the atmosphere fine. There's a ton of tables and it was quite busy when we went. I did like all of the options for sushi rolls and would happily come back.

Chad and Matt were exceptional in their service to our large group. The food was also good and fresh and came out in a timely manner. Will definitely return!

We ordered 7-9 rolls of Sushi. Unfortunately, it was missing a lot of flavor and some pieces were not rolled properly. Sumo Sushi can’t compare and was much better. Cute restaurant but the food was not so good. I wouldn’t say it was an authentic sushi based on the sushi chefs. It also took several minutes (15 minutes or so) between each roll. Don’t know if that was done on purpose to allow us to order more.
I will not be eating there again, unfortunately.

First time there and will definitely go back! Our server Michael was fantastic and was very patient (we had a 7 month old) and was engaging with her. All of the staff at one point or another stopped and engaged with her as well! Food was excellent, we started with apps-spicy kani salad, edemame, calamari, mango salmon and moved onto rolls. I10, Snow White, and a couple others. The fried Oreos were so good!

This place is very nice and Michael was great at describing certain items and even got me some eel sauce to try for dipping and it was great!

Service is always top notch and the food is cooked to the proper temperature. The speed of service is also remarkable.

Lammy was awesome server, she got experience and she treated you like a king. Asking for her if you need to be king.

My girlfriend and I love coming here. The food is great, and depending on the time you go, the service can be fast or pretty slow. It can get a bit loud at times, but overall, i enjoy my time here.

A very warm and inviting atmosphere, with the most delicious sushi I ever tasted! What a great concept and priced just right.

I’ve been looking for a good Japanese place and finally found it! Every single food item I’ve tried was exceptionally delicious (and believe me, I’ve tried many!) My favorites were the seaweed salad, the I-10 Roll and the Harumaki.
Christian was my server and he has such a good, uplifting and fun energy! And the decor is beautiful and inviting.
I’ll definitely be coming back in the near future! Favorite restaurant in Lakeland!
