Sushi Ninja Tampa reviews
24An interesting mix of contemporary sushi and Korean fare. The prices and service were very good. Lunch specials are a very good deal.
Very slow service and on top of that my group of people had questions about the menu and our server was rude towards us. I’m sorry you having a bad day.but at least answer our questions. Food 8/10 slow on coming out.but food was okay.
Sushi was tasty and fresh. The place was packed but not cluttered. The room we were in was nice, not so much romantic but relaxing. Our service could’ve been better and I didn’t care for the plastic sauce cups.
Explosive TNT mussels starter, we almost ordered more! Fresh, fresh, fresh! Their special rolls did not last long on our either table. Kudos to the chef for flavor and presentation
The freshest sushi, that I have EVER had.
In Miami I tried almost all sushi restaurants and although there were some good ones, I'll take Sushi Ninja anyday. Thank you for keeping up with high standards, despite the pandemic
Good quality food for a decent price. Our waitress was really pleasant too. All staff were wearing an N95 mask made me feel like someone cares.
Sushi Ninja is a great choice for a quiet quality meal. I have been dining here for years. The service is always good. The quality of the sushi/sashimi and everything else they prepare is top notch. Keep up the good work Sushi Ninja!
Great location and food. The place was clean too. The one thing I am very upset is about the service. The end of it. Very strange and it made me felt uncomfortable. When we went to pay for our bill, it was several people dining and everyone decided to pay individually but when we gave the credit cards to our server to process the payments, when he came back with the receipts, he asked if the food and if the service were good. We say everything was fine and said that one person had tip him less than what he’s used to. He also stated that management asks servers to ask clients right there on the spot about their experience if their tip is not what they expect. He got a good tip from the table no doubt and it found it very disrespectful and rude of him to let us know that someone among our party had given him something he thought it was not a good amount. It was not. Very rude and for this reason and awkward moment, I won’t come back. I will call for sure and ask the manager if this is a rule implemented among the servers.
Went to this place with some friends from Miami looking for a good sushi spot and let me tell you we were not disappointed. The service was absolutely wonderful. The ROLLS, were all stunning and tasty, especially the lobster roll, which I still think about till this day. It’s a small place but cozy and felt just at home. I would highly recommend this spot to anyone who is new in town or a regular. Prices around the average for sushi in this area, overall a great experience, can’t find anything bad to say about this place.
Menu said YAKITORI chicken breast with green onion
But it was just chicken without green onion!
I love this place. I always go for the korean food and am never disappointed. I've been around many korean influences and I can say this is athunteic and prices are so reasonable. It's clean and atmosphere is great.
Ate and drank here for a friend's birthday party and had a great experience! They were able to accommodate our large party of 10+, and the service was friendly and quick. The atmosphere was calming and modern, and the restaurant has a lively feel. The large menu has a mix of Japanese and Korean foods, so there should be something interesting enough for everyone.
Great fresh food. Portions are filling. Love this place. The sushi didn't stay on the plate long enough to get a before picture.
They have best korean menus in Tampa. Their side dishes are just like home made and so tasty and their Jjampong and Hot stone Bibim bop is must try.
Also their staffs are the best.
Service horrible, I come here often but if the service continues will take my business elsewhere.
Wood panel walls stand on end;
Grains hold the integrity of conversation.
Open low joist ceilings, intimate space;
Big flavors in a quaint box.
Maple walls recall 70's home decor;
Intimate lighting, sunken shadows, inviting silhouettes.
No image of sushi, downed quickly;
Monetary sacrifice from $ to $$.

I order take out from here regularly and it’s been outstanding every time. They offer a large variety of sushi, the portions are generous, and the quality/flavor is top-notch. Major plus: they also serve Korean!
Great sushi stop, generous happy hour menu. Ny Yankee roll and USF roll along w THE GODZILLA ROLL! Amazing! (Pic) Service was excellent, very clean establishment pleny of seating and a large full liquor bar. Will definetly make this a stop for great sushi anytime I'm in Tampa!
This place always hits it out of the park with their sushi. I havent been disappointed yet with any rolls I ordered.
I've come to this restaurant many times over the past year or two. They offer a really nice selection of cooked and raw sushi. They have all of the standard appetizers, rolls, and some Thai dishes as well.
My personal favorite order is the Agedashi Tofu. They fry cubes of tofu in a light batter and then pair it with a nice sauce. The tofu sucks up the sauce and it's just a great bite. My wife and I usually get various sushi rolls as our entrees. Anything from the Jamie Roll, Special Mexican Roll, or the simple Spicy Crunchy Tuna, or Avocado Roll. All are highly recommended.
Come check this place out!
