Sushi Sho Rexley reviews
9Wow, I am beyond grateful that a place like this exists around Tampa. I loved each carefully curated dish that was present. I was at first concerned that I would not be satisfied after this experience but was left happy and full. I appreciate the intimate setting and the sake pairing. I highly recommend sharing the sake and purchasing it to enhance the course! Can’t wait to come back! It’s a wonderful treat!
The fixed menu ensures fresh product. Although this is not your average Florida sushi experience, it is worth a go. I prefer to be able to order the things i like the most at a restaurant. That was the only drawback for me was the fixed sushi dinner. That being said, it was some of the best sushi I have had in Florida and the most traditional and well prepared sushi. Note: call well ahead of time. The restaurant is small and does not seat very many people.
Absolutely love this place! Service was great and food was amazing. No menu just go with the flow, but you won’t be disappointed. Sake pairing was great. The Itamae was amazing and extremely skillful. I never really enjoyed raw fish until I came to this restaurant. 100% recommended.
Hands down the best food and service we've ever had.if food is a passion of yours, this is a must-have experience.
My first experience with omakase, and it did not disappoint. Chef Rexley provides interesting and exciting flavor combinations. Arte is welcoming and attentive, and our sparkling sake pairing was pure delight. I can't wait to return.
My wife and I have celebrated two anniversaries here and plan on making it a tradition. This was our first omakase experience and we are forever changed. The fish melts in your mouth. The service is warm, attentive and informative. We got the sake pairing and loved it. They are also very accommodating for allergies. Highly recommended!
We’ve been there about 3-4 times and love it more every single time. Best sushi in tampa/st.pete and such great service!
Chinese sushi. Very bad compared to more worldly cities. All the sushi tastes Chinese with the scallion oil. They get their fish from trueworld foods same as all normal sushi restaurants. For the price they should be importing fish from Tsukiji fish market. Also still not full
27 October 2022: Five-star ratings are meant for places like this. Tonight, Chefs Kwok and Michael delivered a top notch traditional edomae-style omakase sushi experience at a reasonable price. This is a rare find in the greater Tampa Bay area.
This is not the westernized faux-sushi dining dominated by heavily-sauced rolls and subpar nigri pieces. This is authentic Japanese sushi with a purist approach. You are tasting fresh fish here and not sauces.
Recommended for the sushi aficionado and adventurous eaters.
Rexley, Michael and Artemis were warm and welcoming, most delightful.
Parking is a bit tight though so car-pool or Uber is recommended.
