Suwannee River Bend RV Park, Old Town FL

I just bought a new RV and was looking for somewhere close to home to go on my first trip to get the hang of things. This was the best choice I could of ever made.
Joe helped me back in and he made it so easy for me that I felt like a pro. They had a little Valentines Day party at the club house that was just amazing. Everyone there was beyond helpful and so nice. I loved it so much that I booked for next month when I was leaving.

My wife and I are planning to go full time rving summer of 2024, we have a 1989 Champion Lasalle 34' motor home that I have/am spending lots of money making it modern inside and out including new paint, chassis upgrade and the inside have nearly been fully remodeled including bamboo floors, ceramic floors in hall and bath plus custom upholstered furniture and, since I owed a cabinet shop, new cabinets. I thought we might visit this place for a summer and see how it goes, being that I read their policies about 10 year and older motorhomes may be subjected inspection and refusal to stay I decide to email them about the age and explained some of what I mentioned above and even offered to send pictures but, was refused to stay there. I guess I could expect a out right denial if this was a high end resort but from the pictures it looks like a average rv park, nothing fancy at all. I see a trend going this way and its really not ethically moral to do as a many a camper with new rigs have caused trouble, been loud and obnoxious next to us in campgrounds so it shouldn't be a rule straight across the board. If your planning to stay at this campground you might need to check first about if you'd be allowed or not. I wounder what they'd say about a 300,00 15 year old Prevost Liberty Coach?

RV park. Very friendly and accommodating owners. Most of the campsites are on the river, or provide an overlook to the river view. Only been here a couple of hours, but added the park to the return in the future list.

What a great time we had, the hosts are the best! The park is so clean did I mention the people here are so helpful friendly, we were headed out and they gave us directions on a better place to go They told us to go to Cedar key great Place! Then over to Manatee Springs a puppy to go swimming. We would've never known about these places if they had not told us, The information package that they give you would you check in is A+ truly one of the best RV parks we have stayed at. We will definitely be coming back!

Very nice clean campground sites are flat wifi was great view of the river was even better. Staff were friendly and helpful. We will be going back agian

Beware, This People like to run you credit card twice, before you know it you will be charge twice, them went you call, they don't want to talk to you, another words, This people will RIP YOU OFF, BEWARE OF THIS THIEF'S, I Won't Recommend This Place to my Worst ENEMMY, THI ARE SHYSTER'S IM DISPUTING THE CHARGES ON MY CREDIT CARD< THERE ARE NOT TO HAPPY WENT I FIND OUT THERE TRYING TO PULL A FAST ON ME, PLEASE CHECK YOU CREDIT CARD IF YOU GO THERE,

So looking forward to returning to this RV park. Really enjoyed the camp hosts. Camped with the canel in our "backyard" a lovely gazebo, cool breezes and interesting wild life to watch, lizards, small gator, fish, turtles, an owl, just to name a few.

Great people, great location. Called late for an unexpected night and was given a river front pull through. They escorted us to our site and was more than helpful. We will be back.

Very nice, quiet park. Very large, level spots, most with concrete patios & picnic tables. Some even have decks over the water. Lots of large trees & shade.

We stayed for 4 nights while in to watch our Granddaughter in a softball tournament. The hosts were very friendly and helpful and the campground was clean and quiet. We had a premium spot on the river with a private deck and rockers. It was close to nearby springs and good restaurants. We would definitely stay again.

Worst camping trip I have ever been on. After our long drive they informed us there were no showers or toilets availableDue to remodeling we made these reservations months in advance you think they would have pickedUp the phone. We arrived Friday it's now Sunday and they have working bathrooms but the power is off and isn't expected to come back on until after midnight. Ron do not walk away from this place

One of the best campgrounds we've been in. Site#31 is shady and has a nice private deck over the river. Facilities were clean and well maintained. Staff is friendly and helpful. Will be back.

Super Duper nice people.
John even helped us launch our boat into the water with his vehicle since we just our motorhome and our boat with us. Launched us and retrieved us off the river, this team went way above and beyond to make us happy campers …
Definitely must eat at the Suwannee Bell restaurant food is fabulous… You can get there by boat or car…

I have past this camp ground for a long time, my wife wantd to stay there so we stayed. Great place. Had a site right on the water, pull through. Had a concrete slab and a deck over the water. It was wonderful. Really enjoyed the stay. I will go again, quite, clean, so much to see and do I can't name the all. Very friendly people running the place.

We stopped here one night on our way to another destination. It was absolutely lovely. The campground was clean, the office staff very helpful. I didn’t see a lot of the amenities but used their very nice dog run. We had a premium site on the River which included a small deck with rockers overlooking the water. We also enjoyed a short trip to nearby Manatee Springs. Everyone we encountered was super friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

Very nice RV park. Stayed one night passing through. Location is serene and quaint. Wish we could stay longer. Very poor phone signal though so cannot stay for remote work. And there is a lot of dirt instead of grass. There's not much grass at the dog run either and a lot of the dirt ended up in the rv.

Really nice park. Alot of the water front sites have private balcony decks over looking the water. Very neat and clean. Hosts were super friendly.
