Sweet Pete's offers a sugar and sensory overload in every corner of the building there is yet another incredible sweet available for purchase the staff is helpful and friendly took a class down there and made a candy bar and got a tour of where the chocolate is tempered all in all it was a very fun day and very entertaining for children

This place is amazing just to look at, the old historic building is really neat and it is decorated so fun and tasteful at the same time. They even said the decor changes with the season. We took a tour, Heather was our tour guide and she was great, so full of genuine enthusiasm. And to say their chocolate is fantastic is an understatement. You can tell this place takes pride in what they do. I’m sure anything they make is going to be delicious. The shop is really a destination. My only regret is that we are from out of town and only visiting and won’t be able to come by every time we get a craving!

Enjoyed this day trip to Sweet Pete’s. It’s walking distance from James Weldon Park.
A great blast from the past. They sold many of my favorite childhood sweets. The building is brightly colored and welcoming. The staff was very helpful in assisting us with getting around the three story facility.
They informed us about the restaurant opening in July 2021 and the candy classes that they hold. We stopped by the second floor I’ve cream parlor for a treat before grabbing some candy and heading out.

So much fun! Super cute vibrant decor that pops just as much as the candy! Tour was very well done. With sample galore and behind the scene views staff was very friendly and the tour guide was knowledgeable. Only suggestion would be a lapel mic for the tour guide.

Nice place to relax, people watch, eat good, etc. Looking forward to returning with my coworkers. This place has a nice design. Menu is like a cafe in Indianapolis I liked.

I’d give 5 stars if it wasn’t for the front office person. He didn’t seem like he knew anything about birthday packages and could hardly answered my questions. It is a lovely place but they should get a person who greets customers with enthusiasm.

This is fun big 3 story house, in the middle of Jacksonville! Great tours and candy making workshops.
Fun for kids and adults!

Sweet Petes has closed for emergency renovations mandated by the city until further notice. Hopefully they will be open soon

Not as great as the tv show made it look. Worst thing, they are using latex gloves to serve their products, allergy beware.

Love this place and I don’t think there is another place like it in Jacksonville. They make all the candy and chocolate there and it TASTES like it. They set up for holidays inside to reflect the time of year. Heard they are repairing damages and wish them a speedy recover because I got the munchies

What a delightful place for lunch. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was friendly, musical, and sweet. Can't wait to go back when I'm in town.

A pretty cool place, but it’s really just a very elaborate candy store. The “factory tour” is literally a single room you walk into, and they basically say “We make candy here! Have a nice day”. The candy making for kids was a woman who dunked Oreos in chocolate, and then your kid gets to decorate it. That is they get a bowl of small hard yellow balls that they can put on the cookie. Definitely not something I’d do more than once.

We went on the tour and we loved it! Great friendly staff very fun place to visit. The only reasons it's not a five-star is because I didn't like the candy they made there. But they sell pretty much anything.
