Taco Beach Shack, Hollywood FL

I would of gave this place a 5 star for the sake of the food (kiss to the chef's) AND the music/DJ. The tacos is the ONLY reason I come back! Due to the service it is a hit or miss so please be PREPARE. I showed up at 10: 39pm and they immedialty told us it was closed no explanation or nothing. This place close at 12 and this is NOT the first time it happened to me.they pick and choose who they serve after a certain time. I drove from Boca Raton to hollywood just to be turned away.look on the bright side, the tacos are amazing, I just hope the service improve over time!

Went Saturday night to celebrate my birthday with a group of about 20 people. The staff was super accommodating and the food was excellent. Thank you so much!

Ordered brisket nachos. The queso is very good. Guacamole had too much cilantro and lime juice. The quality of the sour cream was beyond grade A, and everything was fresh. The brisket was slightly chewy. Some pieces had gristle on it, which reflects poor prep work. The black beans tasted mediocre, and like they came from the can. The tortilla chips are said to be house made, but they were fried poorly; there was a huge chunk of chips stuck together, which is caused by overcrowding the fryer basket. The food was average and over priced. 7 to 9 dollars for one taco. I've had better nachos at Flanigans and Tijuana flats. It was a quick stop near the hotel room.

I loved the atmosphere, great service the burritos were really good only thing is the chips and queso was not the best.

The food was very good, but the manager (a lady) treated us indifferently and I saw how she treated the waiters, who treated us very well, she started yelling at them in front of us, very uncofortable to see

Camilo was the best service I’ve had in a while! He was so helpful when it came to helping me out with food and drinks. Make sure you get the spicy mojito:)

Was craving tacos the taco spot closed so tried here.tacos were overly sauced wings sauce was bomb but over cooked. Server never didn't bring napkins til the tacos came and I couldn't keep wiping my fingers on my leg and a virgin marg the same price as a real 1 CRAZY!

Good not great. Lots of plastic. We're trying to save turtles out here.

My family and i were going to Red bhudda bar which is an amazing bar with an open jacuzzi that happened to be closed tonight. As we walked down to find another place to eat, we ran into the Taco beach shack in hollywood. This place turned out to be the worse nightmare any one can experience. When we arrived, we were told to wait for 45 minutes because they had just received a large postmates order and the kitchen was on hold. We asked if it was possible to be seated while we wait since there were so many empty tables that were not being occupied. They declined that request so we politely waited at the entrance for up to 25 minutes until a gentleman came by and sat us down and proceeded to bring us menus and water. As we are looking over the menu to decide what we would be having, one of the cooks came out the back of the kitchen and expressed that they would not be serving us and we’d have to leave. When asked what was the reason and to speak to the manager, the cook explained that the manager (Sujelle) did not want to speak to us and wanted us to leave. In the mist of the cook speaking to us, police walked in expressing that we do not look like any trouble but would have to leave because of the declined service. And we politely left. To top it off we were the only black family there along with 3 children. So i would not recommend this place to anyone of proper culture.

I had previously left a 5 star review for an incredible server we had (Cameron). The food was ok but the server provided us with some of the best service we ever had so we left it for him. Unfortunately since my last visit I have had to delete that review to update with this now 1 star review. This place is disgusting. I have been coming here for years and have only been watching it go down hill while the prices have only gone up hill. Unfortunately I have had my last ever visit here. This place has taken the sharpest down turn I have ever seen and it comes form management. We’ve seen many different managers in our time here (always a bad sign) but this most recent manager (Sue I believe) has to be the most unprofessional person I’ve ever witnessed. In our time here not only was she standing around the whole time but all we saw her do was yell and and treat the employees like they weren’t even people! How unprofessional to yell at and insult your employees right in front of customers! It’s the sweet and kind servers that have always brought me back here and I hate seeing them have to deal with abuse like that. Not only that but she came over to our table and was EXTREMELY rude to us. We’ve never seen someone so rude and unprofessional. Do yourself and everyone a favor and steer clear of this place. A business that employs abusive management like that doesn’t deserve your support. There are plenty of other great establishments to visit in Hollywood. There’s a reason this place is always empty…

This place is outside seating only. They have couch like and table seating. There are standing, running, loud industrial fans.
The service was slow. I had to ask for the $12 chips, guac and pico that I ordered. We had to get our own napkins and we're never given silverware. This is a place for tourists to hang out and people who don't know good food. The price for the drinks were non-alcoholic.

Hollywood and Dania Beach have great local joints. Read the locals reviews and support our small businesses.

OMG this place is amazing. Not amazing with all the fluff, but amazing with food, service, and interaction with customers. We're in Ft. Lauderdale for a week vacation and stumbled upon the Taco Beach Schack.

The server was Alejandro and he was awesome.

Food amazing, service amazing, customer service amazing.

We'll be back on Saturday for awesome Tacos and Margheritas.

Went here with my family and the food was absolutely delicious! The service was amazing and so was the atmosphere! It’s such a cute place and vibe for if you want great Mexican food. Our server Camilo was very nice and acomodating. Would 10/10 recommend if visiting Hollywood beach!

The food is quite rich, tasty meat and pork tacos. The margarita jug is taken by 3 people, it can be shared for 4 people having a drink per person. The atmosphere was passable, I didn't like the music, a bit loud if you want to go and talk

The service is horrible. It took nearly 20 minutes for someone to come and serve us, and that’s because us wasn’t even packed. The food was terrible, you’re better off going to Taco Bell with that quality! Our order was also incorrect. The music is great, but that’s about it. I do not recommend this place

Went there today on forth of July around 6: 15 and restaurant was empty we walked to the bar and asked for a table of 2 and they directed us to a table we sat there for about 20 minutes and no one ever came to our table many servers walked by our table looked at us and waked away. There was blond manager wearing a red shirt the walk by us a feel times as well. OWNERS OF THIS PLACE SHOULD BE ASHAMED AND CLOSE THIS PLACE DOWN!

They don't even deserve 1 star. Go across the street to Opa tavern the food there is much better and a fun place.

I was there a few days ago, the food was excellent and the service as well, however there was a lady with blue eyes, who was apparently the manager, who spoke of a despicable to her waiters. I also gave him 20 dollars to give to the waiter as a tip, I asked my waiter if the lady had given him the money and he told me no.it gives bad energy, for her I would not come back because it caused me a lot of discomfort
