TacoSon Authentic Mexican Grill reviews
44I used to love you guys but then you had to go and have a political opinion and put a big billboard in front of your site I'm not a Republican or Democrat but I refused it eat at a place that can't keep their opinions to themselves in a country where you were free to have opinions not force them on your patrons
Good food, a little more of a fast food interior than exterior. The 7 yr old wanted ground beef and they didn't have plantains. That said, quality nachos, good service, clean place. They have a really big menu, just not everything everyone wanted. If you're near Busch gardens looking for a good Mexican restaurant, you could definitely do worse
Vegetarian/ Flexitarian, not Vegan!
I ordered what I thought was a Vegan burrito, asking for no cheese and no sour cream, but it turns out that the zucchini that is in the burrito is cooked in milk.
I'm medically Vegan so it wasn't an ethical matter but if you are strictly Vegan, please note that asking for no dairy in the Flexitarian burrito does not guarantee it as Vegan. Just Lacto-Vegetarian.
On a plus side, the burrito was as big as my face and absolutely delicious!
Order 3 tacos instead of 4, they are that full of meat. Portions are huge and the food is tasty. I recommend.
I'm from Cali. The menudo here is just like back home. Best so far that I have found in Tampa. But if you what great tacos. Go to taco mobile on flecher ave. Best tacos in Tampa.
Very Tasty great service and value.would be 5 stars but limited seating causes a long wait sometimes
This place has great food but it always takes forever and they always seem to make a mistake. Like I said GREAT food so I keep going back.
I have no idea why anyone would complain about the price! Got to meals each for 7.25 or less.and they were each big enough to feed 3 people! I've traveled to Rivera maya each year, and I used to live in homestead where they have a large Mexican population, I can tell you this place definitely ranks up to the top 3 Mexican restaurants I've ever eaten at! The food is fresh and flavors blend amazing and the rice was so good. My favorite is the steak ranchero 7.25 on Friday
The one place in Florida that seems to tame the animal inside that misses Mexican food from Southern California. Absolutely delicious.
My favorite taco spot in tampa.
Economical, filling, most authentic with a twist. The green salsa is everything!
Best Mexican restaurant in Tampa they always get the order correct and food is always hot I love there daily specials and price
Great food with huge portions. If you want authentic Mexican food, you won't find better in Florida!
Little hidden gem. Their chimichanga is really good. When I visit Tampa I to run by this restaurant
Steak tacos were good! We ordered the taco combo, 2 tacos, rice and beans. Agua de Jamaica (hibiscus) was extremely sweet, we had to water it down.and was still too sweet.
We were hoping for fish tacos and learned they only offer them on Saturday’s. We’ll be back to try them.
You order at the counter, they hand you a number and they’ll bring order to your table. A bit pricey and tip is suggested at checkout. We tipped.
Service was excellent!
Why? Why? Why cabbage on tacos? I don't get it. Fish tacos yes. Anything else, just no. I miss authentic tacos.
It doesn't get any more real than this, and I lived in La Villita en Chicago por once anos.
P. S. If you normally order 4 or 5 tacos, start with 3. Everything is double and the nacho deal is just stupid, more than enough for two.
I just wish they would add al pastor.
Salad bowl seems like their popular food. It's good but not enough to bring me back in a few months.
Awesome pork tamale, and shredded beef chimichonga, beans and rice also above average. Fast casual, order at the counter and they bring it to the table, friendly and quick.
Best Mexican food in the area. Decently priced entrees and generous portions. Get there early for lunch as it gets busy.
