Purchased a 30 Hp Suzuki outboard for my skiff. The folks at Tailwinds made the process easy, and kept me updated on the motor being shipped and delivered. They mounted the outboard for me, and helped get the setup fine-tuned for the best operation. Michele, Tim and Randy are top-notch in my opinion! Definitely recommend talking with them next time you need service or when checking out a new boat. I feel very fortunate that they are so close to my home!

Brought in a vehicle to fix the wiring on my dual battery set up. Owner was enthusiastic about me dropping it off over night reassuring me it would be taken care of. I get a call back to come pick up the vehicle. Not because it is finished, but because the mechanic didn’t want to work on it for some reason. I would not have wasted my time ubering to and from high springs to bring this vehicle to this company for fixing had I known that the mechanic was not serious about trying to reach a positive conclusion. When I went to pick up the van I was charged for an hour of “service”. It was made clear to me that he barely even looked at it let alone tried to make the wiring work. He explained to me how I could fix it myself. I take the vehicle home and do as he says and still no luck. I called back to see if I could bring the vehicle for fixing and the owners had to check with the mechanic to see if he would. He wouldn’t. It seems the owners don’t have any real power here and are just there to make appointments and give customers a false sense of security while snatching their money.

They were perfectly content with taking my money and leaving me in a lurch.
Avoid if possible.

Waste of time and money. Not serious about customer satisfaction or honest business practices.

I used to take my boat to a different place and was very dissatisfied with how I was treated. Tailwinds has a great staff who strive to get your boat in, done right, and back out to yoias quick as they can so you can get back on the water. I highly recommend them.
