One of my favorite restaurant. I have been there couple of times with my family and the GM always made it a special day for us when he was around.
The food is really innovative and you can see the emphasis on high quality sercice.
My favorite has always been the dessert boat.

Saturday night no reservations the wait is going to be easy 45-1 hour. But we got lucky and sat at the bar, we ordered the wagyu sliders. Beef fried rice, crispy spicy tuna roll, and the short rib tacos, and for dessert my favorite sushi ice scream. The food was spicy so make sure you like spicy. Great service. It was my lucky night because I also found street parking and saved $30 in valet!

Takato was amazing. Went in with my friend for some lunch, and our server Adam was exceptional. I had the angry chicken and my friend had the yasai maki, both were good. I also had the waygu churrasco, which was perfect. The cocktails were both delicious and cute, overall the service and food was a 10/10.

Loved every piece of this experience. What a special, singular meal! Took my 12 and 9 yr old, we all love sushi and this was something else. We had the edamame, crispy tuna, duck Bao bun, scallops special (), aburi sake, dragon maki and sushi ice cream. Every bit was delicious, beautifully decorated and wonderfully served. The sushi ice cream was so unique: the 'rice' is rice krispies type! Aburi melts in your mouth, crispy tuna gave great texture to rice and there are no words for the scallops special. Just try it. We hope we are lucky enough to be back and will cherish this in the meantime.

We had a girl's day out lunch here and really enjoyed our surroundings. We all ordered different dishes based on reviews read and we were not disappointed. It is a great place. Looking forward to coming back with a friend who enjoys Japanese cuisine in the evening for a more quaint experience. Cheers!

We enjoyed our time at this mainstay of the Ft Lauderdale dining scene. An attentive and knowledgeable waiter guided us through an eclectic menu of Asian fusion items new and reimagined. We couldn’t get enough of the spicy edamame and flavorful mushroom gyoba along with a surprisingly yummy reinterpretation of our angry chicken - fried chicken thighs. Table side seared lamb chops and a delightful sea scallops dish were terrific entrees to complete our seaside dining experience.

This popular and busy place comes with engaging bar scene which makes for a high energy but splendid vibe as an entertaining back drop. A seating mishap by an overzealous hostess was addressed by a thoughtful and talented management team.and didn’t detract from a wonderful evening.

We can’t wait to get back for more of Takato.

The food and service was mediocre. My server was clearly stretched thin between too many tables and it showed. They have a scenic oceanside location.

We came here for happy which is M-F 4-6pm we were originally seated at a table outdoors until we realized happy hour is only at the bar, so we moved to the bar shortly after. But once we started to order we were very happy. The angry chicken was a great deal considering the portions which were huge. The garlic chili edamame was excellent I could have eaten that all day. The salmon roll was fresh and the ponzu sauce for the Shumai was good, I'd definitely return

Eric was fabulous! He was our server a few weeks ago and we loved every part of our dining experience. He was knowledgeable, easy going, and fun but extremely professional.

We really appreciated that he let us taste the wine before choosing between two glasses. Everything on the menu that he recommended was delicious- especially the cocktails!

I had the short rib Benedict and my husband had a veggie omelet with the chicken sausage. Food was amazing! We both cleaned our plates lol Mimosas tasted so fresh and delicious! View was to die for! Adam was our server he was phenomenal.

Service and food was just like the other reviewers said.
Mateo was my server and I can honestly say he probably was the nicest, professional, knowledgeable server I ever had.
The Brussel Sprouts were amazing. The Bronzini was very good and the ice cream sushi was …. Just try it.

Excellent meal! Service was fast and all the food came very hot from the kitchen.
The outdoor terasse is super cozy with large heaters that are great for late night chills.
Loved the sushi. Fish was extremely fresh.presentation gorgeous.
The wine was on point.
I will return for sure and would recommend to others.

The food was amazing! But I would come back just for our wonderful server, Adam! He was great and made the experience even better!

Hostesses barely know basic manners. Waiters are average. And this is supposed to be the main restaurant to the Conrad Hilton — a rival of the Ritz or Four Seasons? Learn how to say please or basic manners.

Best sushi we’ve ever had. Excellent service too. Reserve a table outside on the front patio. Best meal of our trip!

Takato’s food and food service is 10 out of 10. This is my second time going to this restaurant and I recommend trusting the recommendations of the staff members as they have tried all this delicious food.

It is a busy establishment but they make sure that you feel special. Every part of my meal was delicious.

I never expected to love brussel sprouts the way this restaurant has made me love them!

The wagyu chimichurri steak was perfect, it melted like butter in my mouth & pairing it with the brussel sprouts. This delicious pairing was recommended by one of the staff named Asia. The angry chicken was recommended by another staff member named Helen, and we cannot think her enough for that amazing recommendation.

Our waiter Vu, recommended this amazing Lychee drink & dessert, and made sure everything was to our liking.

I cannot stop raving about this restaurant because it is truly so good. The food is high quality, the staff is so nice, and the ambiance of the restaurant is amazing.

I have gone to this restaurant with friends & family but I recommend it for a date night as well. I would genuinely be so impressed if a man asked me on a date to this restaurant because then I’d be rest assured he has great taste.

Great Sushi! Plus you can’t beat the view. We had a lot of different dishes, highlights were: duck bao bun, short ribs, jalapeño roll, spicy tuna roll, sashimi plate (on ice). Service could have been better, server was slow not as attentive even though they added 20% gratuity by default, but it’s spring break so I could see why they do that.
