Beautiful violins, the quality is also very good for the prices, my teacher was impressed with the one I showed her. Mr. Tambovsky is very professional and knowledgeable about what he's selling, i would recommend this place to anyone in the area.

Any luthier can do that.but within seconds of meeting Mr. Tambovsky I knew I was in the presence of a master. His talent, passion, love for music.his brilliant craftsmanship.he not only left me with a perfectly restored violin.he inspired me! We need more people in the world like Mr. Tambovsky!

Mr. Tambovsky was excellent. He took the time to explain everything, answer all of our questions, & then helped us make the choice that was best for us. He’s very knowledgeable and extremely kind. We had a great experience and would highly recommend his store and his expertise.

No price tags on the violins. To begin with Mr. Tambovsky asked about the price we are willing to pay for the violin. I said three thousand. Than he started showing some violins all of them with Tmbovsky labels except one. We tried about 5 or 6 and then we were pleased with one and my son liked it. Then Mr. Tambovsky went inside and came back to announce that this one is priced $5,000 and offered a installment plan. It seemed to me kind of bait and switch selling technique. I later bought a violin for $2,500 from another shop where all the violins have price tags. I give this shop three star because it has some good quality violins though I could not rely on the stores pricing policy.

I recently brought my violin to Nikolai Tambovsky for some minor repair / servicing and I could not be happier. Once I entered Mr. Tambovsky’s shop I knew I had chosen an expert, I highly recommend him!

From the moment we read about Nikolai Tambovsky we knew he was the right person for the job- We brought in my Grandfather’s violin, made for him in Italy in 1924- it needed some repair and restoration, which was done by a true master luthier. I cannot recommend Tambovsky Strings enough especially with something that holds such sentimental value- Nikolai was fair and honest, and truly one of the last great experts in this field!

Nikolai did a fantastic job on my cello the finger board was warped I took it to other places that told me it couldn’t be fixed. Nickoli looked at it and said he could do it it was a big job. He had to cut it out in pieces sand and straighten the neck and put a new finger board in. Like a transplant. It took about 2 months but from now on nobody works on my cello but Nikolai

I am a violin teacher. I brought my violin, which I had dropped and broken, into this shop. Mr. Tambovsky was able to repair it beautifully, cleaned it up so that it shined, and reset my sound post. My violin now sounds better than ever before. The repair didn’t take long and he even loaned me another violin to use it overnight. He makes violins, too. Being a professional violinist himself, Mr. Tambovsky does an excellent quality of work on string instruments. You can spend hours at his music store in West Palm Beach, FL while being mesmerized by the variety of wonderful professional string instruments which he has to offer. I was so stunned after receiving my own adjusted violin - the sound was totally transformed. Besides, I was impressed by the great work on my bow after being re-haired. Amazing place! The owner was phenomenal! We went there with a violin we bought, knowing little; going to buy a bow. He tuned our violin, gave us new strings when one broke on him, and he showed my partner how to hold and use the instrument!

Lovely shop! I visited here as a first timer, Nikolai was extremely helpful in helping me find the right the right parts to make my starter violin sound amazing! He was very helpful and kind in answering all my questions. I will be coming here from now on as I learn.

Had an excellent customer service experience here yesterday. I needed the bridge to my son's violin re-fitted on very short notice (same day) because he had an orchestra semester exam this week. The owner was very helpful, friendly, and above all you could tell right away he was very knowledgeable and an expert in his craft! He was open on Sunday where most other shops were closed or the luthier was not in. I was in and out in minutes and he gave me a very fair price compared to what I was quoted elsewhere. I was shocked that my trip to get my son's violin fixed went so quick and smooth! Thank you Tambovsky Strings! You saved this band mom's day!

Mr. Tambovsky's business is one that you always want to go back to because he will work within your budget and will take good care of you. The quality of his instruments is outstanding.
