Tampa Bay Farmers Market reviews
16Everything is so fresh and local! Carl was very informative and very helpful! Definitely Recommend you visit this Honeycomb hideout!
Good quality local produce. I love the ghost pepper cheese. Prices are great for most things. They have firewood and a decent plant selection too.
First time here. Fruit and veg are fresh and tasty. Our new place to go. Going to stick with this one. Going to get a plant next visit. Got some beautiful roses today.
Person who attended the call rude and disrespectfull, never heard what I was saying and hang up on me with out letting me talk.
The produce at this place you can't beat it. Both in quality and price. Great guys that run it and excellent customer service.
From 5 to 1 star, after knowingly selling extremely dry zucchini bread that had banana listed as the 1st ingredient & zucchini puree as the 4th,
just to have sum on hand as I was told. Quality should be important @ a farmer's market especially for $6.99! So a customer is lost! Shame on you!
On vaca and saw this as a thing to visit today, 9 April. It's more of a extended stand, not a market. Nice fruits and veggies and reasonably priced. Nice staff.
Just visiting the area. Found this cute Farmers market. Great selection and friendly atmosphere!
Helpful staff was looking for roses but no longer sale them was directed to a location thanks
Small and charming business need more variety of fruits but is shining, nice price spectacular plant's and friendly people.
Great little gem. Produce is not heavily waxed like in supermarkets. Fresh cut flowers and potted plants are beautiful and affordable. Great and friendly people!
The WORST Vegetables! Grocery stores have better and I hate grocery store veggies. This market is always over priced and the product is less than usable. Just horrible. I will do without before I go back there. AP Produce is the greatest.
Family owned, amazing people, Fresh Fruit, veggies, flowers and for every Holiday they have the nicest stuff.
The business is friendly and I hate to leave a negative review, however I was not sold an accurate product and paid a premium price. I bought some “seasoned” wood for my smoke today and paid $60 for two carts (this is how they quantify their wood). To put this cost into perspective, that price is about 10-12 times higher than the typical going rate at other local vendors.
The reason I did not buy from my usual place is that there is no supply of oak wood due to the Super Bowl and Covid impact on supply. I consider myself reasonable and understood right away that I was paying a tax due to supply and demand which stinks, but given the circumstances okay by me.
***THE REASON FOR A 2-STAR REVIEW HERE***
Upon arrival I was told this wood was “seasoned” otherwise known as aged to dry naturally. The gentleman told me it was seasoned for 12 months.the wood is cracking and popping and won’t hold flame. 12 month properly seasoned oak takes very little effort to ignite. I already have ~2000 pounds of wood just like this that isn’t ready to cook with. So my main issue is that I was not sold the product that was described in person. I could tell the wood was still a little green due to its weight, but goodness.
BOTTOM LINE: You guys shouldn’t be selling green wood advertised as seasoned wood, especially at that rate. I recommend others diligent enough to read this review to Google firewood in your local area and purchase by the pallet or cord from a reputable wood vendor.
-The end
Friendly caring owners that take the time to interact with you, I get all my fruits and local honey here!
Great for high quality, fresh produce at low prices. Every time I return home after coming here, I am just so inspired to eat more fruits and veggies. So inspired. Not a place to have a lot of fun and explore because it's small and mostly veggies unless you're like me and fascinated with vegetables. I strongly recommend this Farmer's Market!
