Very professional environment from the receptionist to the dentist. They have the upmost patience when it comes to examining young children. Highly recommend them for small kids.

I brought my 3.5 year old daughter in yesterday 12/20 to have a tooth pulled & one capped. Needless to say, I was a nervous wreck about my baby having dental surgery & being put under anesthesia. But this office & all of its staff made my daughter & myself feel so comfortable, it was really amazing. I don't think there was a single point where my daughter felt scared & I'm so thankful for the staff making this such a good experience for her. I definitely recommend this place for anyone needing dental surgery for their child!

Very nice place, very neat. Good attention. We liked the friendly treatment of the Cuban assistant who attended to us. Many blessings and Merry Christmas.

Super friendly from receptionist to the doctors you can tell they love there jobs and working with children if I could put 1000 for rating I would keep up the great work your already doing

This facility did amazing job! I was ready to walk out due to reading bad reviews but Dr. Polenco reassured me they will take good care of my child and NO unnecessary teeth was being pulled and i get a copy of xray at the end. Lesson learned here.dont believe everything you read.there are more amazing reviews then bad. Tampa Surgery Center did a FANTASTIC job with Zane and i couldnt be happier! Highly recommend

Had the worst experience with the billing department who is not even local with the surgery center. No phone calls back from them for weeks, call to follow up then they know nothing of what you are talking about. One person says something from the call center for billing then someone says something else. The customer service representative that I spoke to today stated that they had no notes or anything and didn't know what I was talking about. I have been dealing with this issue for over a month now. I am now having to start the whole process over again due to there policies of not knowing what they are doing when it comes to secondary and primary insurance companies. All while my child needs this procedure due to pain. If they had the correct people within their billing department who knew answers then this could have been taken care of. NO call back, NO follow up, and lack of professionalism.

The only improvement I would love to see is online pre-check in. The staff, dentist, anesthesiologist were all excellent. They showed care and concern with my son.

At first, I was concerned at how far out the available scheduling seemed to be, my eight-year-old was so nervous and so uncomfortable. We were notified via text to call in, reviewed to see if our situation could qualify to come in early for a consultation AND procedure same day! Coming in far earlier than we originally anticipated! (Desperately needed to be seen) Doctors were so nice, informative, warm, front desk was so polite, all of the staff made it such a comfortable and well informed experience for my little one and I. He’d never gone under general anesthesia before or had such a serious procedure done (I was initially a mess) But I never even had a chance to have any questions or concerns, quick and thorough detail was provided every step of the way. Before and after care instructions given clearly both verbally & printed, the attentiveness to my sons experience was above and beyond. Dr’s went over their plan with pictures of what was happening, all possible outcomes, why and how everything being done the way it was. Nurses making sure I was informed and ready for every step is something I could’ve never expected, truly remarkable. All littles react differently to anesthesia, waking up. They gave me such peace and assurance explaining everything. You can tell they truly care about the emotional state of each child. IVs and everything done after he was out, no chance for my baby to be nervous, their confidence and composure when he woke up, explaining in advance how he might feel, how scary it is for some Littles to wake up with so woozy. Truly a beautiful place and unconditionally supportive atmosphere. Nothing felt anything other than genuine and clear. I couldn’t be more happy with my sons care.

First time visiting Tampa Childrens Center. Staff was very professional and determined to take care of their patients in a timely manner. They were extremely helpful to all my questions and most importantly my child was comfortable with the staff. Highly recommend.

The staff was so kind, they made my son with Autism feel really welcome at his visit for surgery

Staff was very kind from the beginning, Dr. Gyles was very kind and explained everything that was going to happen and made us feel at ease. Our nurse was the sweetest as well making sure I understood everything.

Yesterday afternoon they sent out the same text to everyone saying they may have an opening to do exam & procedures same day. Some lady showed up 10 mins after me with her son insisting to get both the exam done and procedure today.she didn’t even have her insurance card, updated dental referral and her appointment wasn’t until 9: 45. I overheard everything while I was waiting to be called back. When the dentist finished the exam he said he had a spot open for my son’s procedure.then the receptionist up front said they’ve already given it to that same lady. It’s crazy to me how the receptionist was easy to manipulate and convince into adding them in the schedule before someone whose appointment was before hers. All they could say is “sorry there was a miscommunication”.
