Today is the 2nd time I have visited the lot. I actively looked at cars and even approached an employee who ignored me. I went inside, and no one was available. I don't understand why this happened, but I won't be buying anything from them.

Excellent service, fair pricing, definitely worth my drive from Fort Myers to buy a car. I strongly recommend this dealer & Todd really knows his stuff & has a well deserved Excellent Reputation.

I started to bring my Prius to Todd mid 2020. My mom had brought her Prius from him years prior and recommended his business for whatever I needed for my car because “he’s simply the best, most knowledgeable, caring, and honest”. I can say that that was the absolute truth! This review is long overdue but I can’t recommend this place enough! I’m not one to really leave reviews but as a single girl not the most car savvy-especially with an electric vehicle- I felt very safe going to Todd and his crew. He’s helped me with diagnosis, new battery with warranty & even answered the phone one time at 7 in the morning when my care just stopped in the middle of road. Instead of paying money for it to be fixed, he diagnosed it and let me know that it was a manufacturer and I was able to take it to Toyota and get it completely fixed for free. He has, and will always have my business!

5 stars all the way. I had my car shipped to them because I knew they had a reputation from online car forums for doing excellent work with the head gaskets on 3rd gen prius. I could not make it there to retrieve my car for almost two weeks, and was worried about the accessory battery dying from sitting. They put it on charge to keep it healthy until I could come get the car. Amazing company

I visited Tampa Hybrids right after Christmas to buy a Prius. I had already spent hours researching and looking at online listings, and TH had the best inventory by far. I love the TH website; each car listed has lots of information and photos.

I had read good reviews about TH and Todd, but he was even more helpful than I expected! I've owned a Prius before, but still had some questions, and Todd answered everything and more. He's very knowledgeable about the Prius. He went above and beyond in explaining everything, and it's obvious he's passionate about these cars. And even though my husband was with me, Todd never ignored me in favor of him. Todd spoke to me directly, recognizing that this was to be MY car and I was the one who wanted to know all the details and understand its inner workings better.

During the test drive, we found an issue with the screen, and Todd immediately replaced it. Meanwhile, Susan - who was also supremely friendly and helpful - completed our paperwork. Overall, it was a wonderfully smooth process, and I drove away happy! (I was so happy to be driving a Prius again that I took a wrong turn on my way home, adding time to my drive. Oops.)

When the time comes for maintenance and/or repairs, I will definitely go to Todd. I love this car, and I trust him to help me keep it running well.

Todd was able to squeeze me in at short notice and offered the best price after contacting multiple shops. Upon arrival, the mechanic Nick was welcoming and helpful. Had my ABS actuator unit replaced and couldn’t be more happier. Thanks Nick and Todd.

LONG TERM REVIEW (1 YEAR) :

I Bought the Prius 2009 Touring edition from Mr. Todd last November. The car has been extremely reliable given its age.
Can confirm with confidence that the cars sold here are always refurbished to high standards, not just sold as used cars or as is condition.

Believe every five-star review: Tampa Hybrids is excellent. I recently bought a Prius from them, and it was easily the best car buying experience I've ever had. Mike, the salesman I worked with, and Todd, the owner, were informed, considerate, fair, honest, and helpful-both before and after the purchase. The document process was also pleasant (thanks to Lori and Susan). I can't imagine ever buying a car anywhere else.

Excellent customer service! Todd gave me a correct diagnostic for my Prius just over the phone, after I payed huge amount of money to Toyota dealership for nothing. He was highly professional and fixed the car with warranty. And he stuck to the promise, as the other day I had some car issue again and the problem was fixed right away with no charge! Simply amazing service from all the team at Toyota Hybrids Inc.

I hate car dealerships. Especially used car lots.

However- this place is the exception to the rule. Todd, the owner, is a true hybrid enthusiast and is a walking encyclopedia on the Toyota Prius. It's apparent that his passion for hybrids goes way beyond just selling you a car.

I like working with people who are passionate about what they do and possess a deep knowledge of what they offer.

Todd fits the mold.

This is how all used car lots should be run: Straightforward, no haggle pricing. Reasonable dealer prep fee (they charged me $399 whereas average dealer prep fee in Florida is $1100). Family owned and a professional staff. Highly recommended.

Amazing Hybrid specialty shop! They fixed up my Prius-C quickly and for a reasonable price. No tricks or upsells, they explained what was wrong with my car and fixed it quickly. 10/10 would go again.

Todd is honest. 2 months ago we agreed on a price for him to buy my car, the same price the Toyota dealership offered me. Today I came in and he said that was too low and he is giving me more. Rare find.

I was blown away by the expertise and kindness. Todd provided excellent service to my daughters and I while looking to purchase a Prius. If you are looking for a quality, used Prius look no further. We purchased a 2019 RAV4 Hybrid from Tampa Hybrids and had a great experience from my initial call to me driving out of the lot. Todd (and his wife) were extremely professional, not pushy, super patient with all of my questions, and the driving/buying process was fast and simple. Over the past few months, I went to over a dozen dealerships, drove 8 different vehicles, and it was super stressful with the overpriced vehicles, crazy dealer fees, and other hidden costs (like dealer upgrades?). We will be upgrading our other 2010 hybrid soon, and we will go straight to this lot. We feel we got a great deal from Todd and his wife!
