This is a great place to do classroom observations. The teachers and staff are super friendly and keep you involved during class! The students are also very welcoming!

Overpriced and their customer service sucked so decided to go somewhere else. There are much cheaper school in Florida and especially for international students, having affordable fee is very important but it seems like this school does not understand that.

A fantastic place to learn Spanish in Tampa! Both the private lessons and group classes I took were engaging and educational. All of the instructors are knowledgeable, kind and patient. The price is very reasonable and the customer service is top notch. I highly recommend as a place to learn a foreign language in Tampa!

Loved the friendly atmosphere and the class sizes! Each classroom has the upgraded technology of a Smart TV that can easily display the teacher's content from their laptop. I had the opportunity to observe classes and left wanting to take some of their foreign language classes:)

They are very committed to language learning and helping people from around the world achieve their language learning goals. I was able to complete my practicum hours via students recommended to me by Tampa Language Center. The director was very helpful, thorough and professional.

I was lucky to study here with amazing teachers and students. I really enjoyed talking to people who work in the school, and all of them are kind and helpful to all students. In the end, I want to say thank you to all my teachers Anne Marie, Kim Gallon, and Sam Morter, and I won’t forget to say thanks to the school administration, especially Ryan and the girl who works in the first office. She is professional and amazing. I highly recommend this school to people who want to improve their English.

I'm an aspiring ESL instructor, who completed the TEFL practicum at the Tampa Language Center. My experience with the center's staff, students, and director (Ryan W.) have been extremely positive. The staff is knowledgeable, motivated, and caring. The staff exudes an extreme sense of passion and pride for teaching. This passion is transferred to the students, who genuinely put forth the effort to learning the English language. Students are encouraged to ask questions and challenged to exceed the course standards. Many thanks to the inspirational teachers (Mr. Tom, Mr. Sam, Ms. Natalie, and Ms. Kim) who allowed me to participate in their class and have meaningful interaction with their students. The staff is unique in the sense that they find various ways to teach students inside and outside of the classroom. Some teachers incorporate class trips, events, community service, and other activities into their lessons, providing students the opportunity to practice their listening and speaking skills with other native English speakers. If you're looking to learn the English language in a positive, encouraging, and judgment free environment, the Tampa Language Center is the place for you.

I used the Tampa Language Center for my practicum. I think my practicum experience was wonderful! The first day of meeting the director Ryan, he gave me and the other students observing the confidence and opportunity to teach on our own. He didn’t doubt us, and he armed us with many tools on how to teach. He was reliable, very easy to talk to and accommodating, and I know I had an awesome practicum experience because of him and Ms. Gallon. I would highly recommend this school to anyone

While working on my TEFL certification, I did my practicum hours here. TLC has a wonderful and welcoming atmosphere, perfect for anyone looking to learn languages! I sat in on English classes of all levels, giving me the opportunity to see many of their teachers in action. I would recommend TLC to anyone looking to become proficient in English, needing to complete observation hours, or looking to teach English.
