Tampa Truck Stop reviews
18Parking lot is now paved! The restaurant has good food.decent selection of prepared foods and also trucker supplies in the store.bathrooms are about a 2.17.00 bucks to park.people working were very nice. HUGE improvement over my last trip about 2-3 years ago.
Given how parking is in Tampa, this is your go to place. It's not fancy and costs 17 bucks to park but it was worth it. Got me off the road. Needs better lighting and maybe don't allow drivers to park out of actual parking spaces. Had to squeeze my way out of there in the am, almost blocked in
Their truck parking lot needs a serious cleaning and update need more trash cans.
The inside is also needing a serious update
Staff is friendly and fast service they do have a diner type sit down and take out service food was excellent
Underutilized interior space definitely forgotten about in the late 90s
They do have overnight paid truck parking
No window squeegees or paper towels in the truck fuel Island
Close to the casino convenient
Good location. Dirty restrooms if they are working. Higher than standard pricing.
Arrogant staff.
Never a bad experience. Clean bathrooms, 24 hour parking ($15.00), showers and friendly service.
Convenient location but not many spaces. Decent store, but kitchen was closed. Place has potential
I refused to use pumps. I noticed that the stickers on the pumps that the state puts on to secure against skimmers was cut. Florida has huge issue with this. I left. I had it happen to 2 of my cards in the past.
For trucks, you can pay $15 here or try your luck at the super small flying j up the road. They have a lot of expired items at this truck stop. The guys who work the truck wash does keep the parking lot clean.
15.00 to park for semi trucks. This location will allow you to drop the trailer. New parts/mech shop. Brand new gas pumps. Showers or bath. One washer one dryer.
Younger gentlemen are friendly and socail. The older gentlemen are not rude. But really wont engage in small talk which can be kinda awkward.
Motel and waffle house across the street.
Over all good place. Prolly only parking you will find with open spots as flying j and TA are small with limited parking with most being reserved.
This place is, unfortunately the the only place to park a semi. They charge a lot for a lot that is in disrepair, don't have a mechanic on site and won't let you call your own.
Still cheaper than parking at the Sefner pilot/flying j or TA.
Great services everytime. My boyfriend parks there and he always tells me how welcoming the staff there are.
I needed to change the review from 3 to 5 stars. Their food just got way better and their parking is reasonable now.
It's alright place they have a little restaurant they make food but you have too come early after 4 they stop making food. Plus parking is not free you have too pay.
The staff provided a welcoming experience. It's truly a one stop shop. There's everything from hot showers, scales, a mechanic shop, restaurant and plenty of parking.
Not a good place to park. Paid parking, lots of dropped trailers and locals hogging up spots. Go further down I-4 a couple miles and park at the Flying J or T/A which is paid parking also. If your going north there is a nice big rest area 10 miles or if your going east on I-4 you can park at the weigh station for free if you don't want to pay at the T/A.
Great fuel price I thought the people where nice didn’t have any lot lizards or crack heads bother me great store lots of products entire lot is pay to park $15 saved about $75 by filling up truck at this truck stop
So I've officially found the worst gyro in the Tampa Bay area.the meat was so burnt you couldn't even taste the flavor of the gyro also who uses mayonnaise to make tzatziki sauce that's just ridiculous I will not be back and don't waste your money here in this restaurant.
Just about everything is expired in the store. Got a bang energy drink, tasted weird so I checked the expiration date where it says best by and it said 4/19/19. Showed it to the cashier and he claimed it said 8/20 but it wasn’t the best by date. Also got some now & laters that were expired. Before you pay for your stuff, check if it’s expired because they won’t replace it if it is expired.
