Dr. Gearing is such a great eye doctor that it’s worth the 2 hours drive to see her. She’s the first and only doctor to actually explain why sleeping in contacts is bad. All my previous doctors have just told me not to. I know that she’s well experienced on eye health, so I trust her expertise. Jessica, one of Dr. Gearings associates, is also super helpful and friendly.

All around excellent! Highly professional knowledgeable and friendly. I highly recommend Target Optical at Gulf Coast Town Center.

I recently moved to Florida and in driving around I realized with my sun glasses on my vision in the left eye was a little blurry. Looking in the mirror it was very noticeable that the sun glasses were not sitting squarely on my face so the verilux lens was not synced with my eye. I saw the optical store at Target’s and stopped to tell the young woman behind the desk. She was very pleasant and immediately noticed how off balance they were. She said she could fix them and not only did she straighten them out but she also tightened them up for me. Since I had not purchased the sunglasses from this store I asked for a bill. She said the service was free! I was so impressed with her kindness in solving an annoy problem so graciously that I will be filling my eye glass prescription at that store.

Jessica Syria was absolutely great. We came in to fix my son's glasses and she did it with a smile. I was completely satisfied with the service and I wish she worked in New Jersey where I'm from. I had such a excellent experience from start to finish! I would recommend all my friends and family to go to Target Optical! Thank you! With a higher prescription I was nervous to get another pair of disappointing pair of lens. But I was assured that picking the correct style of frames would reduce the look of thicker lenses. I got an adorable pair of Ray-bans! Thank you!

Doctor and staff are very nice. Plan on spending at least an hour or more, much time is wasted waiting your turn here. Definitely they need more help. Do not accidentally drop your contact while trying on, they do not have more and you will have to wait until they are ordered and come back.

My friend told me about his experience buying two pairs of glasses at Target. I didn't know that they even had an optical Department. I went there yesterday and bought myself a pair of glasses for my birthday. Jennifer was very helpful and professional. I can't wait to get my new glasses. I'm excited

This has been my eye clinic for several years now. Dr. Elizabeth has a great manner about her and always explains things well. It never feels like they’re rushing through your appointment. I’ve never left in a bad mood.

So I wet to pick up my contacts today and the guy said he is not allowed to give out contacts by the state, I literally I had order this contacts for my trip a week ago. It was just a matter of looking up my name and give me what I have already order and paid for. He said he is no allowed and there was no one there until tomorrow. I had to drive 1 hour to get here and for nothing. SMH it is not my problem the staff is not certified, I went on regular hours. I would not recommend this place. I I’ll come back to pick up my contacts already paid for and never coming back again. If you don’t have enough staff to work the CLOSE DOWN customers are not leaving happy.

The Store Manager Jessica is wonderful! So knowledgeable, so patient and very helpful! No matter how busy she is, she is always smiling to everyone who walks in. Such a refreshing experience these days. Thank you Jessica!

I had a great experience at Target Optical. The doctor was was pleasant and professional. The assistance I received with choosing my frames was exceptional. Jessica was a wonderful optician. She was very friendly and helped to guide me to the best style for my face. I can't wait to get my new glasses.
