From the greet at the door i was made very comfortable. The Dr is top notch and put me at ease with what is needed to get that perfect smile.

Had a wonderful experience.staff was wonderful. Dr. Shanaka was awesome very thorough and focused. They presented my options without being pushy. They are using all new and updated equipment which is really cool and quick!

I am sorry to admit and embarrassed to admit it has been 40 years since I have been to a dentist. In my defense I had a pretty traumatic accident back then. And dentistry at that point was old school and the dentist I saw was anything short of a barbarian.

I visited Tarpon Shores Dental today. (10/3). I don’t think there would have ever been a time in my life that I would have said it was an amazingly pleasant visit to a dentist. It was super calming. The TSD team from top to bottom are so friendly and so informative. They don’t rush you in and rush you out and explain everything in detail. They are conversant and use the most modern dental techniques that calm even a Dental phob like I am.

I highly recommend them. Whether you are comfortable in a dental office or in seriously dentist averse as I was — run don’t walk to TSD. They are amazing!

And I have actually scheduled repeat appointments. I will be back. Thank you so much, Doctor Shanaka and your entire team!

PS. Their practice is drop dead, gorgeous in decorating style. That is very relaxing.

Every single person in this beautiful office is wonderful - efficient, caring, accommodating, always going that ‘extra mile’ to make your visit a pleasant one. I’ve been going to Tarpon Shores Dental for many years and this was the first time that I’ve had some major work done (involving an extraction, crowns, and a bridge). I opted for the ‘conscious sedation’ and I’d not hesitate to recommend it to anyone undergoing a lengthy procedure. There isn’t enough space here to say how incredibly wonderful Doctor Shanaka is. Besides being a ‘craftsman par excellence’, he takes the time to be certain you understand everything that will be done, no pressure, no rushing. He makes you feel that he truly has your best results in mind. His workmanship is beyond compare and his artistry is simply amazing. His goal is not only that you have healthy teeth - he doesn’t stop until you also have BEAUTIFUL teeth. I have friends who have also been going to Doctor Shanaka for decade+ and we all agree - he’s s the absolute best dentist in Florida!

Hands down the best practice I've taken my family to! My 14 yo son, and 16 yo daughter received the best care from the front office, to the Dr and staff in the back! Would recommend to friends and family!

The Tarpon Shore Dental Hygienists do the most thorough "routine" cleaning I have ever had. The office is always immaculate and so convenient. The staff are also great; very motivated to accommodate one's needs. Dr Shanaka is ALWAYS thorough and engaging; the consummate professional. A FANTASTIC dental experience.
