It was a blessing to have contacted a business who cared so much. I recently purchased a used bicycle and had a problem, We called several other shops in the area and had numerous excuses why they wouldn't even look at the problem. We called Tarpon Toms and was offered the opportunity to bring the bike to the shop for a look. We did, expecting to having to leave the bicycle there. As busy as they were, they immediately brought it to the back, did a quick inspection, showed us the problem and proceeded to fix it. A part was needed and we were offered a used/fairly new part. Within 1 hour the bike was fixed and the price we were charged was more than reasonable and fair. Everyone was polite, professional and very friendly. Wonderful to have a local business offering wonderful, personal service!

There is not many people I trust to work on my Rad Power bike. So I took it in 8/4/2020 for a tuneup, then Jan told me that it was time for a new chain and that then resulted into a new flywheel. Well I can't say I couldn't be any happier. Since the new flywheel was put on I have noticed a world of difference. Instead of really working to get this bike going not all I have to do is just start peddling easy and it goes. I am so happy that Jan took the time to get my bike back on the road. Thank you so much. I will always do business with Tarpon Tom's ‍️

Go see Jan if you need a good bike mechanic. He did a great job fixing my rear derailleur and adjusting my brakes. Jan is a VERY GOOD bike mechanic, and a very nice and courteous guy. He fixed everything very quickly - same day - for a very reasonable price. Nice selection of new and used bikes as well!

I came in to get a tire fixed and ended up with a complimentary retuning. I purchased a new seat and helmet. Thanks Jan for the help. The service was bar none exemplary and top notch. I wouldn't go anywhere else. They also do Kayaks. Check them out.

I had a really get day of renting kayak's with my best friend. The weather was wonderful. We rented a 2 seater and 2 single seaters. Tom was great at meeting us at Craig park boat launch and helping us get into the water and feel comfortable with our kayak's. We ended up paddling through the Sponge Docks and out through some mangroves almost getting lost. We made it back to the ramp we dropped in. Tom picked up the boats and we went on to have lunch. I highly recommend Tom's if you are interested in renting kayak's or bikes he will treat you right! Thanks Tom!

Stopped in for a few adjustments to make my step-daughter’s new bike safe to ride. Dennis was so helpful, reasonably priced and in such a positive mood. I will definitely drive past other bike shops to make it to Tarpon Tom’s whenever I need anything!

Bike had low tires off the Pinellas trail, went to fill them up at Neptune’s. Bought an adapter from the shop to use their free air outside and ended up not working at all. Went to ask the shop keep if he would mind helping me and he sucks! Acted like he was offended by me being in his shop asking for bike assistance. I walked my bike the half mile to Toms- now these folks have wonderful customer service. Pumped me back up and checked my pressure for free. Even swapped out my ratty grips for nearly free. Thanks for saving my ride today guys!

Stopped by this afternoon because my buddy needed air in a tire (after an abysmal experience w Neptune cycles- that sun was a massive a-hole)
The folks at Tom’s were more than happy to help us out of a jam by pumping up the tires. We had them throw new grips on the bike as well which was taken care of in 2 minutes and for half what it would have cost me to have done at the shop by my house.

Can’t recommend this place enough. Next time I need any maintenance done, they’ll be top of my list.

Tom is the best guy there, I asked if he needed help around the shop and he gave me the job. There service is great, they have all the tools needed to fix anything on a bike. If you need your bike fixed I highly recommend them.

Tarpon Toms is a one stop shop for all recreational/outdoor needs. It doesn't get any better when it comes to small business. The owner (Tom) is a philanthropist in our community and a friend. Thank you Tarpon Tom for all you do!

These guys are fantastic. I brought my road bike in to have handle bars adjusted and gears tuned. Well I can't believe how comfortable it's is now and the shifters are so much more responsive. Unbelievably and for a very reasonable fee

These guys are by far amazing. They are definitely are about customer service tom and brad greeted me with very welcoming attitudes, you can tell they arent about making a sale i got fitted to a nice bike and took it home, upgraded to a even better bike less than a week later. Highly recommend this shop to anyone. Prices are beyond fair, customer service is superb, and even just the general atmosphere of the shop is great. Thanks again!

Brad was very helpful in getting me a part I needed when every other bike shop was trying to get me to bring my bike in just to tell me if they had the part. I got to speak to the owner Tom.you can tell he is passionate about bikes and stands by his word I will definitely be back
