I left a diamond ring with them on consignment, claim #6541. I'm trying to get it back. I spoke with someone there before Christmas 2018. They thought the ring would sell in either the Christmas season or Valentine's Day. I called them today (June 2019) and left multiple messages for them to call me, they have returned my call. I filed a complaint, ID#67424485, with the BBB, but they received no response. It looks like they've abandoned their office in Fort Myers and have one in Naples. I've left many messages there and have received no response. JUST CALLED THIS MORNING. THE PHONE IS DISCONNECTED

Our experience started out great with Danny at Tello but has quickly turned into our worst nightmare. Not only has the store closed down, but Danny has two irreplaceable jewelry items that belong to me and has not communicated with us for over two months. We fear we may have lost these items for good. I know from Yelp that we are not the only people in this situation and would warn anyone to not do business with Tello until the situation changes. Potential customers beware!

They did a great job creating my custom engagement ring! My fiancé told him what he was thinking, and they made it “come to life! ”

I tried to go there twice during posted business hours and nobody was there. I tried to call a few times during posted business hours and nobody answered. I don't have time for games. If you're serious about business, then be open during the hours you post and answer the phone when it rings. If you're not, then say that on the answering machine or put a note on the door.

My custom engagement ring that was created 30 years ago was in need of resetting and a new band to go with it since the original was misplaced. The original jeweler was no longer in business and after reading the great reviews this shop had, decided to see what they could do for us. Danny was able to design a gold and diamond band that fit perfectly and complemented the ring. I absolutely love it and I've had many people remark on how beautiful and different my rings are. My wife was heart broken when the stone fell out of her engagement ring.
I done my research and found a custom jeweler. So on our Anniversary we were out and about celebrating. Without her knowing what was up, I pulled in to Tello Custom Jewelry to her surprise. Danny Tello was able to find a Diamond she was happy with. Five day later Danny called and told me it was ready. We picked up the ring and it looked just like it did 27 years ago. Danny cleaned up my ring and my wife's grandmothers ring that she brought with to have checked. Very pleased with Tello's would recommend them to anyone.

Awful, awful experience. I went in for an appraisal of a ring I had custom made 2 years ago. I simply requested that the appraiser tell me what kind of stones the ring had before I left it (they are somewhat uncommon, but I have had their authenticity 3rd party verified in the past). After asking me if the ring had been passed down in my family because it was "quite old, " he tried to tell me that the stones are some kind synthetic silver product. Having no idea to what he could possibly be referring, I politely asked for my ring to exit the store in search of a more competent gemologist. As I left, he showered me with such witty diatribe as "those are fake" and "that's not real. " I find it offensive that staff here would verbally assault a customer upon suspicion of possessing synthetic stones.

My husband and I chose Tello Jewelers to create the custom wedding rings we exchanged at our wedding on June 6,2015. From the start, Danny and Edgar were a pleasure to work with. I had a very specific ring design chosen and I was assured that though they hadn't yet crafted a ring in the style I favored, that they would happily make it for me. They delivered by presenting me with a beautiful, quality-crafted ring that was exactly as I had specified. My husband was less decisive on a ring style, but Danny helped him determine the style he liked and created a ring that Nate enjoys wearing.
