We built a new home and the builder recommended this company. We spent way to much money for their in house Claire system which has never worked great in 3 years. The system is awful and this company provides the worst customer service. After trying to get them to provide service for an issue after 3 months, we got another company to fix the issue. You call them, they don’t answer the phone, no call back when you do leave a message, you call your builder for help and they still don’t call. Poor service after the sale. It appears they have now been bought out from a new company called Smart Shield which has similar ownership. Buyer beware.

BEWARE:
1. Never showed up for 4 appointments
2. The old owners had it installed / just start of new service wanted to sell us everything new without even coming out. (When they said they would come Never showed).
3. If you are not going to show - 4 broken promises how could one ever trust them to monitor services or the need for help.
4. Flew down to Florida after not showing up and received a phone call while at the airport they were not coming. The incompetency from sales to customer service is staggering. We were repeatedly told a manager would call us.
Thank goodness we went with another company that showed up on time installed and corrected all the mistakes this company made. (THE INSTALLTION FROM Tempus Pro WAS AS LAME POOR INSTALL) No wonder the old owners had issues. It was wrong. Never once did this company make anything right.

Do not waste your time or money. Not BBB approved my next action is Small claims for all the lost time and money we spent to meet the representative.

Could not have had a worse experience than with this company. Let’s start with the fact that I spent an easy 150 k for a smart home system install and today over 14 months later we still have incredible problems. Original design tech made a cabling mistake in the design that I had to spend 10k more to fix Tempus never offered to pay for their own mistake. Here we are this long after this type of investment and we need to find another company to fix somebody else’s problems. If you’d like reach out to me and I will provide receipts and details as to this incredible disappointment with our install. One would think that after spending this much money there would be some follow up? 30 days no! 90 days no! 180 days no? So here we are after spending our money which was never a problem but the same level of service or commitment in return? NOTHING. Please think twice before using this company. V/ R Keith

An absolute nightmare. We spent a large amount on our smarthome and over a year later have almost nothing to show for it. They simply ignore all of your phone calls. The uninstalled equipment has been sitting in boxes collecting dust.

We purchased a home from Neal Signature Homes in Lakewood Ranch Florida 2/15/2019. When we picked out our selections, a rep from Tempus showed up and sold us on the SmartHome system they were selling. We went with it and it was the worst decision we made. The system never worked well since it was installed and it is going on 2 years now. This is our second home so we relied on the remote features they sold us to no avail. Our home had no security for a few months and they never responded. We are currently in our home this week and they do not return our calls. I am trying to cancel the monitoring and they won't confirm. They keep taking the 37 out of our account but provide no service. Buyer beware! ADT came the same day I called and has given us our security back. Smart homes are cool, but Tempus is not the provider you should go with-terrible! ClareHome is the app the supply to run the Roku and Sonos -all of it is garbage. I am not kidding-do not use this company!

This a top shelf organization! Very knowledgeable, excellent customer service and all at reasonable pricing! Definitely check out their showroom!
