Thai Spice reviews
19This place is great, the Thai tea is amazing and the food is delicious and very quick. Only reason I’m giving 4 stars and not 5 is because they messed up my order both times I’ve ordered from here, but I’m not mad because it actually ended up being really delicious both times. So, oh well! It balanced out.
Thai Pad noodles are the worst I ever had. It tasted like they put tea leaves in it and cooked it in tea also. All the Thai and Chinese food suck gonades in spring hill and brooksville.
I was very disappointed with the food from Thai Spice. My family ordered to go and brought me home some tofu Pad Thai. Firstly, it was the worst pad thai I have ever had. The to-go box was filled about 1/3 of the way with brown, watery sauce. The tofu had obviously been cooked a long time ago, as it was mushy and oozing the brown liquid like a dirty dish sponge. No vegetables, no real flavor. There was also small pieces of chicken in it... I got a stomach ache part-way through eating it and I'm still nauseous after three pepto-bismols. I am not sure where all the good reviews are coming from, perhaps I just had a bad cook today or something. I have seen other reviews complaining about getting sick from this place. Maybe don't risk it...
I'm very impressed! The restaurant is in a great location and easy to get to. I'm a big foodie and love trying out all kinds of places. I grew up with ethnic food because some of my family are oriental. So I love looking for places like this. An this place is definitely authentic. The broth was to perfection and there spring rolls are on point. You can definitely tell that who ever is cooking the love really shows. I will definitely be back to try more dishes. As for the one I got it was beef noodle with hot peppers on the side With spring rolls. Thank you to the owner for bringing back childhood memories
Very clean and accessible restaurant. They provide big meals and for inexpensive prices. We loved the meals a lot and the staff members were very attentive and informative. Highly recommended.
I loved Thai spice until one day Christen Ashley and their mom was not there.my order is nere right and the family feel is gone.
Its a small place with a good food.the quality of the food is good.we had a pineapple fried rice and basil fried rice.the spice of the food is mild. If you are a person who eats spicy food we can order for a more spice level
Amazing food, we have never been disappointed! As a partially vegetarian family, this restaurant suits all our food needs deliciously. Basil rolls and Thai fried rice are staples in every meal we order, the pad wen soon with shrimp and veggie meddly with beef are undeniably good. Also the Thai spiced tea and Thai spiced coffee are great, such a refreshing taste with such an impressive blend of spice to make not only sweet but complexly herbal. We love Thai spice!
Been here at least 8 times the past few months.
At first, I can say it was very Thai taste. Curry was good. Not too sweet like many places which cater to Caucasians taste buds. Sugars!
However of late, food quality and taste has declined. I ordered a few dishes along with the curry chicken noodles, oh boy, it was like eating a bowl of curry flavored sludgey sugary starch!
Also the chicken meats was tough and chicken drumstick meat was very bruised. To top it, noodles was not cooked right. I am very disappointed. To pay $10.00 small bowl.
They used to give discount to military and law enforcement retirees as well but I noticed they had removed that.
But don't slack in your Thai culture taste. I know for a fact that sugars are added in most of your dishes but please cut down the sugars.
Diabetic customers please watch out.
Thank you. We pay your price, we expect quality food too. Fair?
I called it as i see it. We are all paying customers.
I eat at Thai spice 3 to 4 times per week. Have been for the past year and a half. I have also back packed thru the county of Thailand for 2 months. That being said you will be hard pressed to find food in Thailand that is better than Thai spice. Not to mention for 10 dollars a meal you can’t even buy a happy meal for less than 8.07. So if you are posting a bad review on this place you probably can’t taste the difference between an apple and an orange. Thai spice is fantastic food and it’s made with love by fantastic people. I highly recommend the Thai Basil.
I've been here at least 5 times and they are so pleasant to there costumers. Service is great. Food is made at oder and so fresh and tasty. My unsweetened ice tea replenished without asking. I got Pad thai, it's a popular dish, The portions are very big. Always 2 thumbs up. Also very reasonable prices.:)
Food is delicious with a professional taste and appearance. The atmosphere is peaceful. Overall a wonderful place to take out or dine in.
Not only was the fooddifferent and very good but we had a few laughs with cross table chit chat. Very present place to dine.
We love this place, but twice now (consecitively) we've gotten home and been shorted on our order. The friendliness of the staff has also deteriorated over the past 6 months. Theres also inconsistencies on temps of the food.
It's NOT spicy! Staff will warn you. Heed the warning and your food will be bland. Pls tear down a wall. Place is 350 sq ft. I thought the fire marshal was coming.
Attentive service, excellent food, reasonably priced, always friendly, just wish they had a bit more seating space.
Best service we have had in a long time. Nice intimate setting. Our waitress Christin, was so sweet the food was amazing also. We definitely will be back
We ordered here all the time when they first opened but I will say the quality of food has declined. The first photo is the crab angel stuffed with pieces of crab meat we used to get. Second photo is the crab angel they give now. Totally different. Same price.
Favorite Thai place in Spring Hill, better than most places in Tampa again. 100% recommend, great for takeout.
