The Barkery Boarding and Daycare Inc., Lutz FL

My dog loves this place. I’m super particular about where I leave her when I’m away and I’m never worried at all when I leave her here. The owners treat me like family and are some of the sweetest people I’ve ever met. They send updates of my dog all the time and answer any questions I have while she’s there. My dog always comes home happy and smelling great!

Left our sweet little fur baby, Stella, for her very first time when we went away on vacation at The Barkery Boarding in Lutz. Maria and her staff were very, very sweet and made us feel so comfortable and assured us Stella would be taken very good care of for the duration of her stay. We got pictures and videos texted to us on a daily basis and text messages were answered right away when asked how she was doing:) Stella was placed with other dogs with the same temperament as her so there would be no issues. She was cared for very well and we were super thrilled!
Prices were very reasonable as well!
We will definitely be using them again for our girl and highly recommend The Barkery Boarding!

Once when I went in there, I saw a young kid hitting one of the dogs in the backyard. I never boarded my dog there.

I have been with the barkery for close to 4 years. They are not just a family owned business, they treat all pets and clients AS family. A genuine experience, clean/germ free, loving environment for any species.:)
Recommend for anyone near Tampa, land o lakes etc.

Picked up a little doggie that was headed to a new home. The facility was well run, clean and staff was friendly.

This is the first time we are using Barkery. I got a reference from one of my friend.
I had my pet dog booked through phone much earlier as they get booked pretty quick.
We did provide his shot records before we could reserve so make sure you have that handy before making a reservation.
Dave was helpful in explaining the process and booking a room.
They do have different sizes of room based on the breed of dog.

On the day of the booking we would have to drop him before 12pm as they close between 12pm -4pm for maintenance/cleaning. He showed us through the facility and cleared any doubts or queries that we had.
The rooms of clean, but there was a strong odor, I believe that's there is all the pet day-care.
We chose 1 night stay and day care which costed us 50$.
They did send us pictures and videos of him playing with other dogs. We were happy and did not have to worry about him.
Check out was similar, we should be able to pick the pet before 12pm or an additional day's fee would be charged
We were overall happy with the care and would recommend this.

I have been taking my dogs to the Barkery for the past 2 years. María and David are amazing dog lovers. My dogs are everyday happy and excited arriving and sad leaving to go home. My only thought is they are happy and in the best hands. I highly recommend the Barkery as the best dog care.

I needed to board my two sphynx (hairless) cats for a week and was very nervous as this was their first time being boarded. However, I was able to text with Maria every day and she sent pictures and videos of my cats every time I reached out. Everyone I met was kind and helpful, I truly felt like my cats were not only safe but having fun and being loved on. I really appreciate all that was done to take care of my cats and I would definitely refer any friends (ESPECIALLY fellow sphynx owners) to Barkery.:)
