The BarkMore Resort, Land O' Lakes FL

The staff is amazing! My only regret is that we waited so long to go there. They care about the animals they keep and that shows in everything they do for them.

Wonderful daycare and boarding. Very caring staff. They go over and above. My dog Baxter cannot wait to get there on his "puppy school" days. I am so comforted know he is in a safe place.

My dog spent 2 nights there when I got him home it took me 3 weeks for him to go back into his crate on his own. Don't know what happened. They say nothing, but a crate trained dog doesn't just all of a sudden refuse to go into their own crate.

We left our Rotti for a week at Barkmore Resort and are extremely pleased with the way he was treated, the cleanliness of the facility and the kindness of the staff. They sent us photos every other day playing with other dogs and enjoying himself. We know our dog well so we could read his body language and could tell he was happy. We've tried other places in the past prior to finding Barkmore and we could tell he was stressed but not this time. We will positively take him there again. This is a 5 star facility for sure.

Great boarding resort for my four legged baby. I feel very comfortable knowing he is en great hands whenever I travel.

Barkmore is a place where my dog plays hard, rolls around, chases the other dogs and is always well cared for. The grounds are big enough for a lot of dogs to be out at once with fun ramps for them to run or jump on. The area is always well staffed with dog lovers. My dog is a frequent day care visitor and has had overnight stays too. Always worry free. My dog comes home tired from all the fun he has. A great place to bring your pup!

Very friendly, I feel safe leaving my dog here. They send lots of pictures daily and he looks like he's having a blast lol.

We took our dog Cookie there for play day a few times 1st. Then we had to board her for 5 days. So we were kind of new customers. They remembered her name.they sent us pictures of her playing with other dogs. Cookie had a blast. She came home clean.tired and most important unharmed. That's more than I can say about the last place she stayed at. We highly recommend the Barkmore for your pets.

Cannoli (my golden doodle) attends doggy daycare here two days a week. She loves it! The employees take great care of her and always post pictures for me to see what she’s been up to. Plus, the hours are great. I can drop her off early before work and pick her up at the end of a long day.

Our dog was a bit shy at first but now looks forward to going. Reacher is trained now so that when we say “see your friends” he knows where he is going and loves the staff. Highly recommended.

Super pleased with this place. All the staff is super friendly and nice both my pups have a great time each time we leave them. I wish they had a tip jar to allowing tipping for all the hard working staff who care for the pup that stay over night. We will be sure to use them more often

I had to fly out of town last minute and needed a place for my dog to go. Thankfully I was referred to The BarkMore Resort. Ashley was amazing! Super knowledgeable, Friendly and very professional! My dog loved her and didn’t want to leave when it came time to pick her up. 10/10 would recommend to everyone! Thank you again Ashley&BarkMore Resort!

My dog Rex absolutely loves coming to BarkMore! As soon as we pull up to go in, he basically runs in! He can’t wait to play.

The bark more resort was wonderful for my dog Apollo. What I did like is that they did give updates on his progress at the resort.

This last stay though made me sad. Apollo came home after about 9 days and shortly after he was home he broke out in a bad rash. At first, I thought it was fleas. It progressively did get worse.

I had to then take Apollo to the vet and that cost me 300$. I know for a fact Apollo did catch the bacterial infection or the vet said it could of been mange. They treated him for both. The resort disagreed with me and it made me upset. I thought they could pay half of my vet fees. I know he caught it there because shortly after he was home was when he broke out.

I would recommend this resort just be careful ~

Our dogs stayed there recently. While there one of our dogs came down with a severe case of kennel cough. Our dog does have the bordetello shot. When I told them about it, they did not seemed concerned. Then I am told by my vet that they are seeing a lot of animals from there with kennel cough. My additional concern is that I observed an employee give a dogs owner food back and say that they forgot to give the specific food to the dog as requested. Then they said at least we didn’t throw it away. Just a very flippant attitude by some towards the dogs. I did encounter a couple of employees that seemed to care but deeply concerned about the lack of concern by some and the rash of kennel cough cases coming from the facility.

Additional Info: In reference to the owners request, my dog was at your facility for several days during the week of June 10th. My dog did participate in daycare. It has been over ten days and my dog is still quite sick and looking at a third visit to the vet. I’m guessing whatever they got there is more than just kennel cough and possibly influenza. I did call and let an employee know but they did not seem overly concerned at the time. The only time my dog has been around other dogs is there. I am more than happy to talk to you directly if you would like.

They are all simply the best here! I used to worry about leaving our dog with anyone- but I always know he’s in good hands when we have to leave him for a few days at Bark More. The ladies are sweet & Meko comes back home tired & happy! Appreciate you all!

We have been going to Barkmore for years, even before they were at their current location. We continue going to Barkmore for both boarding and daycare because all of my dogs get the attention and care that they need, and we have peace of mind knowing that they're in good hands. The facilities are extremely clean and secure so we feel very safe with leaving them at the resort.

If you need a doggy endorsement, my dogs instantly try to run for the door when we pull into the parking lot, and my doodle will often run for the daycare/boarding door before we've even had a chance to say bye.

We could not be more grateful for The BarkMore Resort. We have a senior dog who has some special needs and they were so warm and welcoming to him when other facilities turned us away. Their staff was incredible and the owner is so compassionate. We will be recommending them to everyone!

The staff took exceptional care during his stay, and I was pleased to see that they paid attention to every detail.
