Amazing experience entire staff is super friendly open and warm great prices and lets not mention my girl Lauren with those waxes is an absolute BEAST makes something that’s suppose to be painful not painful at all!

This was my first experience at The Blush Bar In Seffner and I most definitely will be back! The owner is awesome and makes you feel very welcomed as soon as you get to the door! Their vibes were everything. I felt really free and relaxed! I received a Deluxe Facial with Dermaplaning, a Yoni Steam, and a Brazilian Wax (my first ever) w/ Vajacial. And she also gave me a consultation for my skin as well! Every service I received I was made to feel comfortable and they made sure that I was okay! I would definitely be returning and becoming a subscription member.

After the first experience it felt good to support this small local business located right in seffner. They are located across the street from the AME church off of mlk in a small plaza. While the inside is beautiful and nicely decorated the service from my second appointment simply can’t hide the lack of professionalism within customer service.

I found this business from wanting a Brazilian and searching options on Groupon. Now I will admit scheduling an appointment via phone was difficult because it couldn’t be done online. It would be nice if the person that they desígnate to answer the phone and respond to text messages actually did it in a timely manner though. No one truly answers the phone and text messages barely receive any responses.

Truthfully they should never partner with Groupon anymore. I say this because despite paying for two waxes and receiving one code, the owner treated me as if I was trying to take from her business. No amount of communication between Groupon would she acknowledge and to make matters worse she threw up her hands, walked away, and wouldn’t acknowledge me as a paying customer. She literally reworded and contradicted everything she stated upon completing my first appointment. It was to the point of frustration in wanting half of my money to be returned to me via Groupon because I truly couldn’t see myself wanting to return after that. The fact that she was more worried about a couple of dollars than treating her customers with basic human decency was beyond me.

While going back and forth with Groupon to try and do just that, the person over their phone lines called me after exchanging messages via text. Once I explained everything to her what she stated contradicted with the owner as well. Surprisingly they magically “allowed” me to get the wax that need I remind you I had already paid for and was trying to get them to acknowledge from the beginning. While I was hesitant that I would receive backlash from my waxer (I’m drawing a blank on her name. I want to say Lauren.yet I do remember she was new and joined after her EWC closed down) she did a phenomenal job and her method was painless.

I do want to also shoutout my first waxer whose name was Jasmine and state that she was amazing. Coming out of quarantine getting a Brazilian was nerve wrecking! I was so afraid but thank goodness Jasmine was skilled and it was pain free. Literally her work is awesome plus she holds a great conversation and is super informative. They use a hard wax btw. (Honestly I think their wax beads must make the process better because I prefer it over EWC wax)

I say all this to say that obviously the problem isn’t the workers, it’s the owner. The work speaks for itself and the workers they hire are professionals within their craft. Yet the owner truly needs more practice with communication because how I was treated was deplorable and embarrassing. I had originally drafted this awesome five star review yet I’m thankful that I didn’t submit it until after my second experience because it would’ve been night and day.

I could see this business being a success if only attitudes were adjusted. It would’ve been nice to have received an apology from the owner when I did return for my second wax, yet I knew she wasn’t going to do that. It’s ok I forgive her now but I want her to know that I was truly hurt from that experience. Blessings up nonetheless!
