The Boozy Pig reviews
14A unique experience. Went for breakfast and brought our own Bloodies. Great breakfast food and service. Also accessed the butcher shop, where we bought beautiful fillets, New York strip's, Italian sausage, and fresh pate.
Laid-back atmosphere, amazing service (thanks Sue and Ulani!) and the food was 10/10 all around. Thanks for a great brunch
Stopped for lunch and had the Giuseppe, great flavors - definitely recommend. If I were a local I’d definitely make this a staple for fresh butchered meats
Great spot for lunch and weekend brunch! They sell more than just pork! Sue is an amazing server with very good attention to detail! Promote her!
Staff is super helpful and knowledgeable. The meat selection is great! My only fear is that now I won't be able to buy meat from a grocery store!
To Go or Not To Go: Go Go! We had heard great things about this local restaurant and finally got there today for lunch- and they are all true! They have the retail side where you can get meats, pasta etc and the restaurant side where you just take a seat and they’ll come get your order. My grass fed burger and white bean soup and corn bread were all very delicious and I ate every single bite. Service was prompt and courteous. This place is friendly and fun! After lunch we bought meat at the deli side and talked to the butcher at length. It’s also a great place to keep in mind for a private event. I cannot wait to come back for breakfast.
Amazing. Had the weekend Bourbon Bread Pudding French toast and it was the best French Toast I’ve ever had. Cafe Con Leche was fabulous. Go. You won’t be disappointed in the service, food or price.
Came to Tampa for a Bucs game and we needed a spot to grab a bite before the game, and I’m so glad we chose The Boozy Pig, because not only was the BBQ absolutely outstanding (insanely good mac & cheese too), but they let us pop our own bottles while we enjoyed our meal, which was super clutch!
This place is awesome. I dined in for brunch. I was drawn to this place because they cook with beef tallow and not machine lubricants. I got the steak and fries. The steak was grass fed and cooked to perfection. The fries were amazing and came with a tasty sauce. The lattes are great here too, and are made with strong espresso. The butcher shop is also fun to browse on your way out. They have a great selection of quality meats and house made sides that you can take to go.
Eat there occasionally always top quality. New menu is outstanding. Salads are great for the light eater and sandwiches are plentiful. Best fries in town.
I had an incredible experience at The Boozy Pig! The food was impressively fresh, bursting with flavor in every bite. Not only that, but the customer service provided by Suh and the staff was exceptional. I highly recommend The Boozy Pig for its delicious cuisine and outstanding service!
Went for brunch and it was fantastic! From the ricotta pancakes to the chorizo gravy, the flavors were out of this world. Reasonably priced in excellent service, and a Great in Eats selection if you’re taking stuff to go home and grill with, can’t wait for dinner service to start.
Quality has gone down.
Steak tastes rubbery.frites are still good.
The pancakes aren’t crispy and soft as they used to be. The jam tastes synthetic.
It’s a shame, used to be my favorite restaurant in all of Tampa.
Made a special trip out to try the beef tallow fries only to find out after I started eating them that they are cooked in soybean oil. Very disappointed in that. You shouldn't advertise fries cooked in beef tallow and then use a blend of mostly soybean oil. Other than that the bean soup was good, burger was ok. Everything needed salt EXCEPT for the shrimp and crab sauce which was excellent. Overall, I would say the food quality doesn't justify the price. I hope they get it together, but I probably wouldn't make the drive again any time soon.
