The Breakfast Shack reviews
19We love coming here for breakfast with our son. Everyone is always so friendly and the food is very good and affordable.
This is a small but great place for a wide variety of breakfast items. I love the spinach and feta omelet. They have great grits too, and I’m a southerner.
Always good meal. Best Grits in town. Waitresses are friendly and efficient. Seems like a lot of locals favor the Breakfast shack families, teens and singles. Great spot for breakfast or lunch.
Waitress was great served us within 15 minutes and food was served nice and hot
Perfect breakfast
Best Breakfast in Boynton Beach
Awesome food and Service. Danny she is just an awesome waitress and the cook, Mark, is terrific on the grill. Awesome pancakes and bacon. You actually get your eggs the way you want them. You gotta try it!
Wonderful staff! It looked like the owner was there today, wonderful person. Thank you for such a nice and tasty breakfast, we ordered chocolate chip waffle, it was off the hook. Coffee was great tasting.
My first time trying this place out and I will definitely be back when I'm in the area. The food and service were incredible. They didn't even let your coffee cup get below half full before bringing around more coffee. The picture doesn't even do that waffle justice, if only you could smell it through the phone. It was so delicious and came out steaming hot. Everything was incredibly fresh and great portions. I really could go on all day about what a good experience it was. I highly recommend them.
Overcooked eggs on benedict. Lumpy, appears to have been sitting hollandaise. Watered down coffee. Most awful biscuits and gravy.what happened? Never again.
The Coconut Macadamian Pancakes are amazing. The Biscuits and Gravy are really good. Expensive bacon but good. Overall good experience.
Excellent food, quick and friendly service. Feels like going to a friend's place for brunch.
The waitresses and kitchen staff are very attentive to detail the whole experience is refreshing
The staff is so nice here! The food smells so good and is so yummy. Our waitress was very nice
Very nice staff. Lovely food! Manager very attentive to all the customers
I got a coconut macadamia French toast and a burger
All came out very quickly, will definitely come back
Authentic breakfast hole in the wall. Great place to go for breakfast and brunch with friends or fam.
Years ago used to be a great place to breakfast. But now you have to wait for long time. Food is not the same like used to.
Very disappointed.
I never knew this place existed and wasn't sure what to expect. My dad and I enjoyed it, the menu is limited that's why I have it 4 stars but the food was very good. I had corn beef hash and eggs with toast, the way they cooked the hash was amazing, crunchy and soft. The space inside is very small and they don't have any outside seating so don't expect to go get a seat with a party larger than 4.
The breakfast shack closes at 2: 00PM on Sunday’s as stated on the website and the restaurant door. My family and I walked in at 1: 00PM to dine in, after we sat down a waitress came to us and told us that they restaurant actually stop serving at 1: 00 but the door closes at 2: 00. That is the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever heard. Especially when last Sunday we walked in at 1: 15 and got served and others walked in after as well. If your restaurant closes at 1: 00 be more specific by fixing your time on the website and the door. DO BETTER
The food is very good but they need more organization on the wait list. They sit ppl who just walk in while the others are outside waiting on a table. They need more servers on the weekends for breakfast
They have great food, but they are always so busy inside that we rarely want to go in to eat because it does take awhile to get seated or order at times. However, what I truly do not understand is the take out situation. Several times in the past and for the fourth week in a row now, we have tried to order take out to avoid the wait inside or simply because we just want to eat at home. Not once in these four weeks have we been able to get an answer on the phone to order and the message tells you to keep calling, but even when you do call back several times, (the first week I think I called at least 15 times with time in between each call to give them a moment. After over an hour of trying to call, we called elsewhere and ordered on the first try). There’s never an answer. In fact, since we have moved to Boynton 5 years ago, I think we have only successfully been able to get takeout from there one time over the phone. I just feel that there has to be a better solution to the take out situation, as it is clearly not working and obviously driving customers away. Yet, after all of this time, it is still the same recording, with no voicemail or way to get a call back to give the order. This was definitely our last attempt.
