The Candle Pour, Tampa FL

Josh was absolutely amazing. He was quickly able to turn a bad customer service experience into a good one. However the two employees we came in contact with prior to him needs training in basic kindness. Ignoring customers or assuming customers are together (which leads to them being ignored) is not good customer service. Treat everyone walking in the door as individuals and greet them as such. Even when my sister attempted to flag down an employee, he made eye contact, walked over and quickly diverted to another group. We were skipped over twice and left standing against the wall. Like I said, Josh was able to turn the experience around. He was the only attentive person in the store.

We had a beautiful experience as mother and daughter making candles and celebrating my birthday. Taylor was great in her assistance choosing our personal fragrance. It was a great time to make candles and memories. The atmosphere is comfortable and the employees are friendly. I highly recommend Candle Pour for your candle making experience.

Avery is the best she was super patient when my husband and me were trying to find our scents we wanted to use! She made the whole experience amazing! Definitely ask for Avery! Our candles turned out so cute!

Visited in October as a part of an out of town weekend visit with a dear friend with a dire health condition. This was one of the most creative low physical effort activities I’ve ever had. I will definitely be looking for a candle making experience local to me for meetup events and other gatherings with friends. However, the reason why I’m writing this review is the service specifically at this establishment. Not only was the staff knowledgeable, they went out of their way to make this a positive and memorable experience by taking our group pictures and offering easy shipping for out of towners. And when my friend became too ill to drive to pick up her candle, I was able to call and had it shipped to her home. I was so overwhelmed with the experience that I just now lit my candle over a month later and cannot believe how powerful the scent is. One little two wick candle can be smelled throughout my entire home. It is simply amazing. When I’m back in the area, I will definitely be back in and will be an online customer in the meantime.

Stopped for my daughter’s birthday for this experience and it was so much fun! The staff was so helpful and kind. We had the best time! Highly recommend!

This was such a unique and fun experience! I love how you can customize your own candle and pick from numerous scents. The staff is super knowledgeable and very friendly. I will definitely be coming back soon.

Please Please check these guys out! This is such a fun, unique, educational activity to do in the weeknd with family. It was so interesting to see how scents combine in candle making. I made the best candle scent ever!

My husband and I went for a date night. The experience was very impersonal and the whole thing picking your scent and creating our candle took 30 mins.
We got 2 of the cheapest candles and still paid 75$. For 30 mins….
There should’ve more to it. Background music, options to buy drinks maybe. There was also a bachelorette party there and I felt so bad because it was so boring and they looked bored as well. Over all not worth it

I had the most incredible experience at the Candle Pour event, and I can't stop raving about it! Anna, Maggie, and Marcus truly made it unforgettable. Anna's patience and dedication, especially dealing with my pickiness, went above and beyond. Maggie's kindness in walking us to our dinner reservations in the rain was a delightful surprise. We were celebrating my boss's 8th anniversary, and thanks to this amazing team, it turned into a truly magical evening. Kudos to Candle Pour for their exceptional service and memorable experience!

I have made products at The Candle Pour over the last 4 years. The selection of scents and available products to make, does not disappoint. Most importantly, the customer service is top notch each time you go in. Today, Abby was a great help in assisting me with my scents. I really appreciate how kind the employees are each time I go in. I put off coming here for way too long! My friend and I had a great time making unique candles to take home. They really make it a whole experience and allow you to take your time with it. Everyone was super friendly, their scents are incredibly accurate and just so fun! We had drinks right after in Hyde park village, perfect date spot. Can’t wait to return with my husband and gift the experience to family for Christmas!
