The Capital Grille, Boca Raton FL

A mediocre and expensive experience.
The steaks (Filet Minion and Prime Ribeye) were good, as was the lamb. However, nothing else was praiseworthy or even worth the price. The truffle fries were pretty bad. They were greasy with a dirty taste. The mashed potatoes were inferior to anything I make at home or that of the local diner. A bit runny and bland. The onion soup tasted like it was made by Lipton. The fried calamari was good without being great. Everything had too much salt. The food presentation and ambience was more upscale than the local diner (at two-three times the price). Service was quite good.

We sat at a table by the bar. The service was friendly but sporadic. Shrimp cocktail was very good. Her salmon was overcooked, but ok. My NY strip was oddly tough and overcooked. I sent it back, and it came back rare, and still tough. The scalloped potatoes were excellent. The server all but disappeared after he removed the 2nd steak. I had to bring my check to the bar. Compared to the Atlanta Capital Grille, it was pretty mediocre.

Here is why: the server treated us differently. Ryan gave immeasurable attention to the old white folks and we are of Indian origin. Not nice. I own the search engine. Bad idea

Service was great, I think the servers name was Misty she really made our experience nice. We got right in without a reservation to a nice booth near the bar.the lobster Mac and the crab cakes are amazing definitely recommend trying and the Kona new york steak was perfect

One of the Best restaurants in Boca Raton Delray Beach area. Impressive service and great food at this high end restaurant.

Perfect experience from the minute we got there to when we left. Welcoming hostess, friendly staff. Appetizers and entrees (filet mignon) we're spot on. Service was perfect!

Great restaurant, very friendly staff, and quick service.
From what I was told about this restaurant I expected $250+ steaks. Thankfully they are much more reasonably priced and worth every penny. Everything in my two visits have been prepared perfectly and overall a terrific experience.

Took long time for the food to come and salmon was very good but I believe I got 3 half pieces of tomatoes and I small piece of mushroom. It was sad.needed coffee.

We eat here frequently and it's always a 5 star meal. We love the wine selection and the service is unparalleled. Of course you can count on stellar food but that really should go without saying. But just to be safe, I'll say that the food is uniformly incredible. Eat here any time you can. Especially on those days when you need to feel loved. We had a beautiful steak and seared salmon salad for lunch today. So healthy and delicious!

Between appointments for a technical nuclear blood test, was allowed to eat. Grateful for gracious hostess, quality food and ambience appropriate to occasion. Service was above and beyond expectations.

Delicious food and great atmosphere! You can’t go wrong with whatever you select at Capital Grille!

It’s a must if they have the bone in fillet mignon. A must!

Somehow the coconut dessert is fantastic. Don’t ask my. I’m confused. We’re all confused. But it’s well worth it to try!

I visited Capital Grille with a friend on Tuesday night and had an amazing experience! Our server was Ray and he could not have taken better care of us. We got a few things and shared and he made sure everything was served to accommodate that plan. He did not rush us and was just great overall. We will ask for him next time. Thank you Ray!
