Our group of four visited the Chimney House on 7/9/23 for dinner. We ordered a few drinks from our friendly waitress who made some menu suggestions and then our group ordered. I ordered the Turkey meatloaf which was covered in a delicious sauce and served with rice and beans. Other meals included the mahi mahi, the grilled skirt steak La chimenea and the crispy pork belly chicharron. Everyone cleared their plates and saved room for dessert, which was also out of this world. We had wanted to try this restaurant and were not disappointed. Fabulous. Highly recommended.

My paella was good but not great. I did like the calamari in it because it was so tender but there was a little too much of it. My sangria was good but not great. The service was friendly but we felt a little forgotten. It's a very small place where you are an elbow away from the next table but the atmosphere is friendly there and I enjoy it. They have a deal on a pre-theater menu but if I chose that my husband would also need to choose it. Reservations definitely recommended on the weekend.

Every single item we got on the menu was amazingly delicious! We had numerous servers come check in on us throughout our meal, they were so attentive and made this such a great experience! Definitely will be coming back!

Friendly staff & awesome, flavorful food with a twist. Great value for the money, also.

Great local spot, authentic food, super friendly staff and one of the better meals in Fort Lauderdale

Very friendly service, but the food was nothing exceptional. Lomo saltado was boring and the seafood plate was bland. I can’t recommend.

I come here almost every time I go to a show at the Broward center and it NEVER disappoints! Fast service, delicious food, and amazing sangria! If you’re seeing a show at the Broward Center, check out the pre fixe menu!

Great food. So tasty. Great service. I can easily see why this place has been here over 10 years

If you’re looking for a classic brunch with a different twist, this is likely a good choice. Latin + Classic brunch in Ft. Lauderdale

Omlette w/ veggies and black bean puree dip was good. The stand out were the brekkie potatoes. Wow! So so good!

Spicy salsa here is good too.great w/ eggs or the potatoes

Empanadas were ok.wish they were crunch vs.soft. Suspect they might be heated in the microwave

Steak and eggs were good

Stand out was also the service. Incredibly sweet staff who ensure you’re well looked after

What a hidden gem we didn’t even know this place was here. Everything we ordered was to our taste and delicious. Waiter was very pleasant and kind. We will definitely be back.

Very lovely neighborhood restaurant that we haven’t been to since before the Covid slowdown. I’m very glad we went and took friends with us. We had a reservation but arrived a bit early to allow for traffic slowdowns due to rain. There was room for the five of us at the bar to have a cocktail (seats about 11 people). Our bar waitress Amanda was lovely, very energetic and upbeat. We were seated outside on the patio under the awning with the clear curtains rolled down in case of more rain. Amanda showed up to continue as our waitress and she did a wonderful job keeping everyone happy. We prefer outdoor seating when possible and they are very accommodating here. We each ordered something different and everyone raved about their meal. It came out quickly as we didn’t order appetizers and we shared a couple of deserts, both of which were fantastic. I’d asked if they had Key Lime pie and Amanda suggested the Passionfruit desert that has similar sweet/ sour taste-wonderful stuff. All in all a really lovely evening that we’d highly recommend. The atmosphere is fine, I only deducted a star because outside you are under a tent next to a fairly busy road. There is limited seating inside, mostly two tops where the decor is very nice and inviting especially when the fireplace is lit. This is more cosy and intimate for a couple on a date. Outside more accommodating for families and groups of friends. Go give them a try, I promise you’ll be glad you did

Had an enjoyable pre-show meal (only a block away from the Broward Center) despite the horrendous downpour. Very busy and it took a while to get our wine and a mistake was made on my meal but they graciously rectified the issue. The Lechon Asado (pork) was delish! Prices are reasonable and we fully intend to return, but maybe at a less busy time.

Watermelon margarita was great to bad it took forever to get a second one. Food was good. Didn’t like blackening seasoning on my salmon. Had fennel seeds in it. Ask for salmon on the side of my salad came out with it on top they just took it back to the kitchen and removed the salmon. Served the same salad. Steak beans and rice were good. We sat inside and still had flies flying around us. Ok spot if you are going to a show because they let you park in their parking lot for $15.00. Service is slow considering how many people were working.

We stopped by here after a showing of Beetlejuice: the musical at the Broward theater. The manager of the place welcomed us in. We requested an inside table but had to sit outside because of an abundance of reservations. We were happy to get a table at the busy restaurant. The food was amazing but our server was lackluster. He bypassed us several times and rarely asked if we needed anything, and never refilled our drinks. We wanted after-dinner coffee but the server never came back to our table, so my daughter had to go find him so we could pay and leave. If we go back I will try to get a reservation and see if the service is better. I liked the restaurant and the setting. The food was great, but get a reservation if you want good service.

This was one of the first restaurants we went to when moving to Fort Lauderdale and used to be our favorite, lately we have been going, and the portions are for ants. This last time, we went for mothers day, the restaurant wasn't even busy, and we all left hungry. I came home and literally made myself another meal. For $28 "steak and eggs" it was a portion so small, take your business elsewhere or be prepare to leave hungry.

We found this restaurant by Chance. A Definate Must go There. The people gave service like I've never seen. A real Family affair. Food was excellent, Prices Reasonable $$. Staff go out of their way to offer advice or help if needed. Free Parking across the street. In a area where you can do to the theatre or take a water taxi or just stroll down Los Olas blvd.

Solid place, always consistent. Shared tapas, had a watermelon-jalapeño margarita that was really unique. Pulpo and chicharrones were the standouts. Busy as always, but attentive service and timing isn't an issue. Cool historical spot, worth stopping in if in the area.

Always good, something for everyone, great drinks, cute patio, definitely make a reservation and if you're there on a show night take Lyft.
