I wanted to take a moment to mention how absolutely incredible the staff at The Continuum are. It is so evident that they care about the residents and that they will do anything to ensure that those living there are happy. They truly make it feel like home. I would like to give a special shout-out to Elle, Melody, and Desiray. These three team members went above and beyond to assist me and to do their absolute best for not only myself, but also everyone else living at The Continuum! Thank you Continuum team!

Perfect spot for a grad student. Easy to start your morning working at a chill coffee shop and then either bus or walk to campus to finish up the day. Utilities are covered so you only have one bill a month. Maintenence always got to my requests within a day. A couple of breweries are about a mile away and downtown is just a few blocks. There's a gym and a pool and a 20 mile bike path right outside your door. Really could not ask for a more easy, fun, and convenient place to live in grad school.

Best maintenance I have experienced in all my travels. Super efficient and forward team that will tackle and resolve any issues you come across your stay at the continuum.

Enjoyed my time as a resident at the Continuum and my collaboration with the management team onsite since I moved out. When I did live there I liked that I could walk to campus and downtown with ease. Oh, and the pool was great!

Management team has THE WORST attitude I’ve ever experienced. Do yourself a favor and find another apartment complex.

Do not live here. Recently changed management. Mold. Poor build. Lots of noises. Furniture is cheap and breaks with minimal use (fun fact, they charge you for that.) The majority of residents have a mold problem. Random pipe bursting or water from the ceiling, followed by mold growing several months later. They blame you for the mold (if only you had vacuumed more - definitely nothing to do with the girl above you who didn't use a shower curtain, or the pipe that was on inside your wall for a while that we didn't know about) and then try to charge you for it. If mold is growing out of the side of a wall, they paint over it multiple times and tell you they fixed it. (but don't worry, they will charge you for a "heavy paint" of that room when you move out.) Expect a 700-1000 dollar fee when you move out for a well cleaned room. Villains. Preying on trusting graduate students.

I love the Continuum complex. It is so lovely to live there. They have an amazing, friendly and welcoming staff personnel. Starting with the top of management with Arica. I highly recommend the Continuum.

Overall I've been very satisfied with my experience living in the Continuum. Location is prime. Maintenance responds very promptly (sometimes within minutes of request) and addresses issues. The staff are very friendly and competent too. Finally, the pool and grounds are super nice, compared to other apartments.

The main area for improvement is the fitness center, which could use some more attention and upgrades such as repairs to torn and broken benches, new pins to set weights, an improved system for the disposable wipes, and refilling soap in the bathrooms (soap has not been refilled for many weeks and sanitation/hygiene is important to keep up with for a fitness center). Also, the bbq area is a nice perk but the grills are old and in disrepair and should be upgraded. Overall, I highly recommend the Continuum and only some minor improvements would be appreciated!

I moved to the Continuum during Pandemic 2020; it has been my home for these two years while pursuing my Master's; what I like about the Continuum is the quiet environment, especially while studying and writing a thesis. All the utility bills (light, water, trash, and cable) are included in your rent is a plus, especially for graduate students who need to
focus on their studies, and the fact that it is a fully furnished apartment is a plus. With the new management, we have more activities and our resident's breakfast, which are the best, and finally, I'm very thankful for the maintenance team; they are so polite and diligent with their work. I will miss The Continuum; it is a great place to move in.

So far, I have to say that Greg is the best man to go to here. Although he is the "tour guide" to go to, he is more than this. He has helped me with computer issues in the business center, as well as with other things, besides being sweet to my dog. He always has a smile on his face. He is the face of The Continuum!

I also have to give some shouts out to the maintenance team! They are always smiling and greeting the residents. We love you!

Pretty community with lots of stuff planned for residents to do together. Only reason I give poor rating is because the emergency maintenance is awful. During the day there’s a sweet old man who is great. If you get the after hour guy he won’t even answer your call and when he does he’ll give you attitude. Had my sink overflow one night and had water pooling up out of the drain. No one came to help for 2 days even with water all over floor. Today had hundreds of bugs coming out and maintenance told me I’d just have to deal with it till Monday for me to call the exterminators and that they wouldn’t be able to come for another week or so. Finally got a hold of the on call manager and thankfully she was very sweet. She personally came and used her own spray to help kill the bugs. Hopefully the exterminators will come soon. Otherwise beautiful apartment and nice staff. Emergency maintenance is just awful.

Update 5/19/22: Although the management replied and asked me to talk to them, at the leasing office, we are told "it was not necessary" to go talk to them. FYI, the reply here is probably automated with no intention to change anything.

I have been living here for 3 yrs, and I have noticed that every couple of months, one or more community/maintenance related issues start becoming more than a nuisance for our day-to-day livelihood here in Continuum. Five months ago, I gave a 3-star rating because of prior issues with the management team on their approach in handling community-related issues and their nonchalant attitude in resolving issues raised by residents here. Here I will add on more recent issues that make me and other residents perplexed and furious at the same time. Lately, there have been several incidents of elevators not working in each of the building and the parking garage (2,3,4). I do not know whether the power outage is within Continuum itself or a grid problem, but a fellow resident I know was trapped inside a stopped elevator and the hotline to maintenance/management team led to a voice mail with no help coming. Fortunately, she managed to call another resident for assistance.

More recently (last night, 15th May around midnight), several residents including me were at the dog park where we witnessed a couple (homeless as they claimed to be) in a heated argument, and the woman is attempting to get away from the man who claimed to be a security guard onsite. We had doubts since there is no proper identification and no prior announcement of new security details at Continuum, and it's weird that a guard on duty would be having a domestic dispute while at work. Furthermore, the woman displayed signs of distress and threatening words were made by the man. We called the management team after-hour hotline, and again were sent to voice mail. Several attempts were made until one member of the management team came. We made calls to the Gainesville police and stood there until we passed the baton over to the police. We are furious that i) the security guard/man is inappropriately handling his personal matters onsite, and ii) we are not informed by the management team that there is night security details (shady too). This new company contracted not only makes us doubt their credibility but also raise question on how the management chose them. Adding on to the previous issues I faced, I had to reiterate again here that the management team approach at cost-cutting and inability to communicate with the residents clearly show how much they don't care about our safety or well-being here. It is not surprising why a lot of the onsite employees quit working at Continuum. I would recommend prospective grads/staff of UF to not stay here. Compared to the cost of living further from the campus, I think an individual's safety is more important.
