Bar The Corner reviews
13I ordered a to go order on Uber eats at 11 is said eta by 12: 05. It’s now almost 2am nobody contacted me and the establishment phone number is no longer in service…
My friend and I stumbled upon this Gastro pub after leaving E11EVEN. It’s a relatively small space, with a very cozy, relaxed vibe to it. There’s limited seating at the bar, but there are also a number of small tables and an additional high top seating area.
I tried to be adventurous and ordered their cocktail dubbed “Trinity” (Wathens Bourbon, Peach Liquor, Lemon, Basil), but it proved to be VERY peachy and too sweet for my taste…so alas I ended up with my usual Maker’s Old Fashioned. They have the dark candied cherries which are my favorite garnish of an OF.
My friend ordered a Delerium Belgian Ale which was deliciously refreshing and everything wonderful you’d expect from a Belgian Ale.
The bartender (John, I believe) was very friendly and understanding when I’d asked to swap my drink.
Website mentions they have Jazz there. I’ll definitely be back, hopefully they’ll have live music next time!
Nice happy hour. The rum runner very tasty for $9. Cozy and nice decor. Bar bites of grilled cheese, German pretzels and olives&cornichons
I usually stop off here for a drink before and/or after Heat games. It's a great place just for a drink. It's simple and low key - nothing fancy. If you're lucky, you may stumble upon some live jazz like I did on a Tuesday night.
Fabian produced world class cocktails on point and was very friendly and personable. He asked questions and worked out the perfect combinations. Ask for Fabe or make sure you have Fabian as your cocktail
Basically, if you are black, not queer, allegedly look “intimidating” you are not accepted here. You will definitely get profiled and assaulted no questions asked. It was such a sad experience that made me really afraid to even travel anywhere because you just never know where your life can be put In danger how we were. We were treated like criminals
and little do they know we are government employees with careers and professions. Also, there was all type of drugs being used and absolutely no I. D was checked for anyone even the minors right next to us. Such a sad, unexpected, experience in Miami.
Can only guess OK, cause don't remember coming here but did have a charge from so much have got at least a single drink one night
Love the hole in the wall vibe but mandatory 25% tipping was annoying. I am happy to tip 25% but having it added to my cash order is new.
Stretchy bar, security guard looked like he was on something and my friend got his phone stolen while they were looking at his ID. People outside has crazy eyes. I will not go again.
The place is great, but I had a bad experience. I ordered 2 drinks at the bar, it was 26 usd and they charged me 50. When I said that to the bartender he told me that service charge was included (in a very bad way) then I talked to the manager and she told me that I was right. She refund my money and gave me a free drink.
Just for you to know it was not a misunderstanding, the bartender (a skinny with a hat man) was trying to charge me more, he had a really bad attitude.
I think everyone who leaves bad reviews ab the skinny bar tender w the hat is just homophobic
This establishment is small and jam-packed with people on the weekends. Conveniently located across the street from 2 well-known clubs. Lines are long, but service is great with a window for quicker access. Open till the wee hours of the morning, only down side is you gotta find parking.
Good place to hang out and have a drink near Miami downtown. Many draft beers on the menu as well other alcoholic beverages. Dj had good beats.
There's a burger place right across the street for a late munch.
