The Crazy Flamingo

Once a week there is a gentleman by the name of Joe who it seems has been recently singing here. Had a blast wonderful music choices and great people. Joe is a great addition to this location and you can see that the people love him. Also I wanted to say a good shout out to the key lime pie there! So tart and yummy and yes it tastes exactly like lime. I don't like lime pie but this here I will definitely eat again. Thank you to the staff who was all a delight and to the gentleman Mr Joe for singing and singing with delight!

This one of my favorites on Marco. Been coming here since the early 90's
Service is good, food is good and new manager has cleaned the place up. Was in Marco last week for 4 days and we ate here twice. My college kid who only eats steak and chicken wings says these are some of the best wings he's ever had. He eats wings everywhere.i tend to agree.they come out crispy and so hot out the fryer you have to wait to east them. We usually order two legged and a mild.the two legged are about a 6 on the scale of 1-10 heat index. Again, they are meaty and crispy and delish. My son of course orders the steak sandwich medium rare on garlic bread and says it's the best sandwich on Marco. The rest of us typically stay with blackened grouper or Mahi platters; which of course is also delish as the fish comes cooked perfectly. Over cooked dry fish is nasty! Always perfect here.

The beer is served ice cold, the wings are served crispy, blazing hot out the fryer, and 2 legged has a nice and not over powering level of heat. This is a great place.

Staff was very good inside. This is a place where you go into the restaurant, order off the menu, order beverages then go outside and seat yourself. Wait for the order to be announced and go back inside pick up. Workers are hard to come by. But the burgers were excellent and beverages ice cold. We will be back!

The food is always exceptional especially the blackened grouper. Erin, the hostess, is especially efficient and soo friendly

Fun locals place hidden in a plaza at Marco Island. $2.50 domestic drafts was a deal! We had the smoked fish dip that was very plentiful, reasonably priced and delicious.

What a great place awesome atmosphere delicious food and reasonable prices. Seriously a great find for the whole family wide variety of items and the burgers are top shelf with garlic bread buns. Go try it and thank me later.

Had a grilled grouper sandwich, others had blackened grouper on garlic bread. We all really enjoyed our food, fries were great. Best grouper sandwich I had while in Marco, better than Island Gypsy and Snook Inn. Giving 4 stars as the restaurant was very busy so staff was a little short with me. Everything came out hot and quick. Would definitely go back. They also have $2.50 domestics (yuengling, bud light, Miller lite, Michelob Ultra) everyday from 11-Close.

The Bird has been an awesome place to go for the 25 years I have been going to Marco. I would put it on my must see list cold beer, good food. Can't wait to see the old Dodge convertible pickup restored sometime in the future.

It's so nice that a nice dive like this still exists on Marco. If you want real people, real food and real cold beer, this is your place. If you want a complete lack of stuffiness and pretentiousness you're also good to go. Let everyone else go to snooks, I'm good here!

Four years ago I gave them 3 stars, this year I am giving them 5. Love the burgers, love the beer and the atmosphere. Great place and reasonable!

Super friendly and welcoming staff, and a festive atmosphere. The cheeseburger was AMAZING! It was a large, juicy, flavorful patty shaped as an oval - to fit the delicious toasted garlic bun. I am craving another one as I write this.

Beans & rice side - just awful. Poor flavor and mostly consists of beans & olives. Why does this place serve such an odd bowl of poor tasting food?
Nobody at the table had anything good to say about their meals.
Above average pricing. Below average food.

Go across to Marco island brewery, I wish Dunkin’ were open. I’d go there instead.

There is something for everyone on the menu. I go for the cheeseburger on garlic bread to get my hamburger fix. Never disappointed in the service or the food. Outside and indoor dining available. Just walk in and order and then sit anywhere you like.
