I want to express my appreciation to the Dog Wizard and especially to Amado for the training they provided. I have two dogs, siblings, mixed breed with very different personalities. Bei is reserved, very skittish while Rusty is more outgoing sometimes too aggressive. My goal was to have them more socialized so that I can take them with me on my travels. This has been accomplished. I am now able to take them with me to stores and parks without the barking, pulling and lunging. I have also been given knowledge and tools to continue their training. We are now looking forward to the graduate pack walks.

I can’t tell you how impressed I am with Reece’s training skills. She was so gentle and loving with Skeeter Lynne. And Skeeter Lynne gave her all she had and mastered every skill. I was do impressed that in a couple more weeks she’s taking on Trippy T Hound. Skeeter had lessons in stores, parks and Hyde Park Village. We love Fog Wizard and Reece.

My dog would often not listen to commands before, now he is far more obedient and willing to listen to me.

My 6yr old dog had a lot of issues with pulling on the leash, aggression towards other dogs/animals (after getting attacked), jumping, and barking prior to coming to The Dog Wizard in Tampa. After graduating, I see drastic changes in her, it's unbelievable. She's able to walk politely and I am no longer afraid of running into other dogs. Her trainer, Amado, was so patient, gentle and caring with her and gave me regular updates. I can't thank this amazing group enough. Definitely recommend!

I am so thankful we found Dog Wizard and our dog trainer Amado! He was so patient with our dog Cooper and he did such a good job of addressing his specific needs. Cooper used to have terrible separation anxiety where he would bark nonstop whenever we weren’t home. Amado practiced various training exercises with Cooper that helped build his confidence back up to where we can now leave him home alone without any barking! He also did a great job of teaching me as an owner how to stand firm and follow through with various commands at home. Overall, we now have a much more disciplined dog and it has made our lives much easier!

Amado did a fantastic job with Frijoles. When I got him, he was full of uncontrollable energy, jumping on people, running around loose, destroying the house and backyard and now it's a complete 180. He sits, stays in place, heels, I can even take him on walks with no leash. Great work is being done at The Dog Wizard Tampa.

We had a wonderful training experience. They were able to help us with our husky resource guarding and nipping issues. He has come back to us with a new attitude. He is still the happy fun loving puppy but we now have the tools and plan in place to help us keep up the training. Everyone we have worked with at the facility is wonderful, friendly and knowledgeable.

I recently used the Dog Wizard training company for my 2-year old bully mix Izzy, and I couldn't be happier with the results! The trainers were patient and knowledgeable, and they took the time to understand Izzy's individual needs. The training techniques were effective and gentle, and Izzy responded well. I feel like I have a deeper understanding of her behavior now, and I'm confident in my ability to continue the training on my own. But I don't have to! The program includes follow-up for any roadblocks I may hit. Reece and Tom are personal trainers and go above and beyond with their job. The love and bond they have for Izzy and concern for how everything is going shows how passionate they are about their work. Manager, Kirsten has a great team in Tampa! I highly recommend the Dog Wizard to anyone looking for top-notch dog training services in the Tampa area.

My Fiancé and I put our 8 month old German Shepherd through the 2 week off leash program and it was 1000% worth it. His trainer Amado did above and beyond what we believed would be possible in 2 weeks and we are so thankful!

Kirsten and her team were great through the whole training process. Amado is the perfect combination of relaxed and firm for training my Shepard/Rottweiler mix, Max. He was great at training me as well and correcting my bad habits. Max was very dog reactive, and now I can walk politely with him in the neighborhood and other crowded areas with other dogs. They also taught me how to safely introduce him to other dogs, so that it minimizes the reactivity towards new dogs. I will definitely be joining the socials soon. Thank you all so much for your support, experience, and knowledge.

Kelso my golden retriever is a new dog! Kelso had zero training. In a couple of weeks he was totally a new dog! Reece my trainer did an amazing job! Thank you all so much! Worth every penny.

The programs at the Dog Wizard in Tampa are exceptional. Every member of the staff is passionate about their job because they love dogs. My dog came to them without training and left them as well mannered golden doodle. She now walks politely, greets people and dogs by sitting and waiting till she's told OK. She goes to her place now into her crate and is potty trained. She's a very well mannered dog and my whole neighborhood has acknowledge the difference in her behavior. She's a friendly puppy, who is very pleasant to be around because she listens and follows directions.
Dog Wizard has definitely changed our lives for the better.

We took our sweet boy Copper for their two-week in house off leash program. Kirsten, Reece, and Tom really helped reinforce good habits alongside teaching Copper new commands that will set him up for future success! We loved the follows up after that helped us feel confident to reinforce his training at home. Added bonus is the lifetime support and training should the need arise.

Amado was a great trainer for our reactive mini dachshund! He gave us regular updates and was always receptive to new questions. The group walks are great for continuing the training!

Amado was the trainer for our sweet but psycho mini dachshund puppy named Gary. I could not recommend Dog Wizard and him enough! He kept up great communication with me while Gary was doing boarding training and always made sure we could reach him if we had any questions. He even came by our place to do a follow up lesson with our boy. He’s great!

We brought our 7 month old German Sheppard puppy to the Dog Wizard and participated in the 2 week on leash board and train. Lio was struggling with anxiety and pulling on his walks. Lio's trainer, Amado, was fantastic! He explained Lio's behavior to us and helped us see that he was just nervous about the unknowns. He built up his confidence and helped us be able to take him on long walks without pulling. They also place trained him and this even helped his life long battle with his arch nemesis, the vacuum. The best part about the Dog Wizard is the life long support commitment. Amado has continued to keep in touch with us and we have had multiple follow up appointments to check in on Lio. We have also attended the group sessions every other week. Highly recommend if you are looking for a training program that goes beyond the initial two weeks! Thank you Amado! From your pal, Lio.

I would like to truly thank the team at the Dog Wizzard and special shout out to Kristen (the manager) and Reece (the main trainer that worked with Olive).

I’m a single mom who just had a baby and when I went home my 8 year old lab had anxiety when the baby cried and she kept jumping on us wanting to say “hi”. She had basic knowledge of commands. I just needed it perfected and help defusing situations. I wanted to make sure I did everything possible to have her and me succeed in our new adventure with our new tiny member so I started making calls.

They actually listened to me, my concerns, and what I wanted. I went with the 2 week board and train with the e-collar. This will allow me to direct my dog with little effort while tending to the baby seeing how my hands may be full.

They text me updates and pictures or videos which helped me a lot personally because I missed her and it allowed me to see her improvements. They brought her home a week in which was nice to work with the trainer a little and see her improvement before they did the last week in boarding.

They also come with a life time of support for your dog which is awesome to know if a problem arises I can count on them to help us through it. I wish I would have done this sooner it is well worth the money in the end.
