The Duck Tavern, Boca Raton FL

My lovely hot dog that I bought for my 10 year old from “THE DUCK”…. When I came back inside to ask them if this was a joke, the bartender/waitress said that’s how they do them open flat iron.
But they gave me another one at least after they told me the black burnt hot dog was how they make them. Sure…….
Oh… and the second I walked it, the place smelled like a porta potty

Best spot for a brew, a wing, a game, a hang! Local quality dive bar (and I mean that with much respect)!

Started a tab when I walked in and gave the bartender my AmEx Platinum metal card to start a tab. It's heavier than a standard card. At the end of the evening he hands me a plastic red Citibank Visa card with a different name on it. I told him nicely, that wasn't my card. He tells me that is the card I gave him. I tell him its a different name, its not me. I pull out my license. He says that he believes its not me but that's what I gave him. I was in town for 4 hours after landing at FLL for business. The last time I had my card out of my wallet I checked into my hotel and put that card in the chip reader, then back into my wallet. Noone else touched it. Anyway, he looks around the register and tells me a again that was what I handed him. I told him that he gave my card to someone else. He then asks me if I am accusing him of something. Now I'm yelling at him. Yes, I am accusing you of giving my credit card away to the wrong person and not man-ing up to it. He lied about me providing a different card, but John Sherborn (I think that was the name on the other card) was left without a card too. Even after I told him that wasn't me. He was more than fine with letting me keep the wrong card. Anyway, the bartender is an incompetent jerk who refused to take responsibility for his mistake. Honestly, a simply "I messed up, I am so sorry" would have diffused a loud public expletive filled argument and prevented this bad review.

Great neighborhood tavern lots of IPA beer and the regulars just about every liquor imaginable and the food is outstanding different specials everyday. Darts, golf game, TVs everywhere. Smoking area enclosed outside. The owners are great the barmaids/bartenders are great nice neighborhood crowd. Come down for a drink happy hour two for one at 3pm. Friend of mine goes with me we have two yuengling's each the tab is 8 bucks how can you beat that for 4 pints. My brother Kevin brought me in there 5 years ago and I haven't stopped going

Strip center tavern with solid tasty food at reasonable prices for the Boca area. Excellent wings and we loved the smoked fish dip. Every night they post different specials that run the gamut from lasagna type home style to local fresh fish. Bartenders are nice but stay busy and that can get the service a little disjointed, but they are trying.

There is some outside seating, a big bar and lots of tables. Worth it to stop in and see for yourself

Local bar of over twenty years, place doesn't slow down. Can find good grub, solid pours and add your own touch of style with the touch tunes music juke box.

The Duck has happy hours and still has options of food being served to guest passed 10pm.

The pizza is done well, great burgers probably my favorite place for wings as well. No sweet treats available but plenty of drink options.

The worst service EVER! It took 55 min to get a BASIC SANDWICH AND FRIES! Even after I asked about my order 2x. It wasn't even that busy either! Never again!

The food is excellent, the service is excellent! Why bother going to the ave when it’s a better time here. Thank you to everyone that takes care of me there!

Nice little place to have a few brews or drinks. Decent sized beer menu and great spicy Bloodys. Food looked good tho we didn't order any ourselves. Will come check it out again.

The service was great and the waitress was really cool. I ordered the fish and chips but was not impressed. Definitely tasted plain and was made for older people with diabetes.

The "dive" without being a dive. Nice clean neighborhood place, good service, with darts and TVs for watching all the games. A really nice place.

Great little hangout.down to earth people and a great mixture of people of all classes. A nice little get away from the ordinary

I can no longer come to the duck tavern after discovering that jay masters is a regular here. Sorry duck tavern you lost a customer.
