The Everyday Trainer, Winter Springs FL

Our rescue, Pluto, is a 1 ½ year old Labrador retriever who was kept in a crate with no training, until he came to us. When we adopted him, we thought we knew how to train our dog. Not so. After 4 days and eating of our house, our research found Meg and The Everyday Trainer. Pluto participated in the Board and Train option for training. This was the best decision we could have made for Pluto and for us. Our sweet boy Pluto is now home and doing very well. The hardest part for us has been following “our” training for consistency with Pluto. We walk at least 2 times a day, which is no longer a struggle. Five stars to Meg and her team for transforming an untrained, unadoptable dog into our new child. When you meet Meg, you’ll know you made the right decision.

Our trainer, Marcela, worked with our dog, Baki (2yo cattle dog mix), for the 3 week board and train and we couldn't be happier with the results! Baki was extremely overexcited and challenged us with leash manners, reactivity, being relaxed in public (the list goes on). Baki is now a much more relaxed/obedient dog and walks like a champ! We were given plenty of guidance for how to continue training and check-in sessions to ensure success.

Marcela gave me confidence in her abilities and peace of mind throughout the whole experience. She was knowlegable, flexible with our schedules, was easy to reach out to and has even introduced her personal dog to help train with Baki during our follow up sessions.

The best dog trainers ever! Meghan and her team work around the clock to make sure all the issues you have with your dog are resolved. They can work with your schedule, which is a lifesaver. Every time our son Mochi comes home he’s so much more behaved. Like a whole different dog. Highly recommend them!

I got my first puppy not realizing how intense the puppy stage can be. I was considering giving up but I found Meg and her team from my sister and I’m so thankful I did! My fur baby is happier, healthier, and well behaved now! Also they board too which is such a huge relief for me since I travel a lot for work. Knowing he’s in a safe environment with gentle and caring people allows me to focus on work and not stress about his well being. Thank you to Meg and her team!

Alyssa is a true gem! The transformation of my dog Hazel, a 4 y old Pitbull, is amazing! Hazel went into training having 0 leash manners, being highly reactive to other dogs, and scared of cars. She came out as me and Alyssa call it, “bulletproof”! Alyssa was extremely fun to work with, flexible with my schedule, and became me and hazels favorite part of the day. Our trainer, Alyssa, was amazing! We had rescued a dog who had been returned twice due to his high-energy personality. We quickly realized we needed some help and reached out to The Everyday Trainer. We were so lucky to have Alyssa assigned to us! The before and after for our dog is incredible. Because of Alyssa’s patience, kindness, and very clear communication, (both with our dog and with us!) we now have a dog who is a pleasure to walk, goes in his crate willingly, and follows many other commands. I can’t thank The Everyday Trainer team enough! Savannah was our trainer in Tampa and specialized our 101 sessions to focus on our dog’s issues. My dog used to be fearful/aggressive around other dogs and Savannah did an amazing job patiently socializing her and getting her more confident! I’m so happy that I went with Everyday Trainer after I got a rescue Great Dane, Lucy is a great dog but had some behavior issues with other dogs. She was also very anxious when in new environments. After spending 3 weeks with Marcela (awesome trainer!) She brought Lucy home to me when her training was done and educated me on how to use the training tools provided by them to continue her training.
The next day hands free walking training with her and she did so well I took her to a festival that was going on, after a little more practice I decided to take her through the busiest part of the event. She went hands free (although I grabbed the lease when I didn’t need to several times). Her attention was on me while we avoided strollers, dogs on leashes, small children and curious adults. Hi Everyone Reading this review! I want to express my feeling of the training The Everyday Trainer has done for me, my husband snd My dog. First let me say I use a walker i have Multiple Sclerosis, my husband was a first responder in 9/11 and is a amputee below the knee. The trainers that were assigned to Athena (my doberman pincher) names are Hunter and Marsela. All I can say is my dog left and came home a different dog. The knowledge both have in dog training is amazing. Of course I had people comment about leaving her anywhere but what they did in 3 weeks totally transformed her. My Athena has very bad aggression issues with other dogs in our apartment complex. Lets just say no more issues, She listen to me and I follow every bit of training they have given me. You need to be consistent, but i can not believe how my dog is. They have a true gift and being disabled, i was afraid i would have to get rid of our beloved Athena. Trust me! ’ They really have knowledge of dog training, and my Athena loves them. I was looking for a trainer but something led me to the everyday trainer. Thank you Meghan for hiring them to represent your business. I am so pleased and happy, words can not express how much I appreciate what they did for my husband and I, Hats off to Hunter and Marsela, the best if the best. Alyssa was amazing! She was knowledgeable, patient, professional and so easy and fun to work with. Can’t recommend her enough, she did great with both my dogs, but her control and patience with my huge St Bernard were amazing. I feel so much more confident in leadership with my boys and my bond with Sebastian has grown so much stronger. I would have faith any her with any dog!

Alyssa from The Everyday Trainer was amazing! We did the 2 week program and it was so beneficial. She helped focus what Yoshi really needed to learn, leash and crate training, and some new commands, that have helped keep Yoshi a well behaved boy. I would definitely recommend Alyssa from TET. She always showed up with a smile. Alyssa is super supportive. The Everyday Trainer was everything i could ask for a wedding dog handler. They made sure Captain was on time for every single event with his wedding outfits and didnt miss a single photograph. Thanks for treating Captain like a member of the family, he definitely was the main character in my brothers wedding and it couldnt be done without you guys!

The entire everyday trainer team was amazing with our puppy Ace. He was a HANDFUL! Would recommend to anyone 110%. I’ve had many trainers but Meg went above and beyond with teaching us how to maintain our pups learning at home.

Meghan and everyone at The Everyday Trainer are extremely dedicated to improving the quality of life of each of dog that they work with. They goes to great lengths to assure they’re cared for and living fulfilling lives through structure, physical activity, mental stimulation, and affection.

I signed up for a month of daily trainings and have been working with their trainer Katie Zerick. It has been a life changing experience to say the least. Prior to training, my dog had been reactive toward other dogs and people. He had one previous bite, and was so reactive on leash that I was fearful to even walk him around our neighborhood. I was at the point of considering having to rehome him.

Within our first week of working with Katie, she completely changed that! She taught me how to better manage those situations, and taught my dog to stay engaged with me no matter how uncomfortable he is with what's around us. Within three sessions my dog went from wanting to attack her to absolutely loving her, which showed me it's possible for him to be comfortable with others when properly introduced and not bombarded with baby voices and pets. She's brought several other trainers and dogs by the house during sessions to give my dog practice not reacting to others entering the home. She always brings extra tools, treats, and whatever else we might need that day.

There's no way I would have figured out how to navigate having a reactive dog without them. I wouldn't be with my dog today if it wasn't for Katie, Meghan, and everyone at The Everyday Trainer. I'm so grateful for their guidance and instruction! The best dog trainers out there!

This training is a life changer. I was struggling with my german shepherd dog (Max) with severe leash pulling and reactivity. I went for the option of board and train due to time and travel plans. Meg and Katie took really good care of Max, most importantly, the training went really smooth. No more leash pulling during morning walks, I can even go hands free now. His reactivity greatly improved giving me more peace of mind during walks.

Katie's in home training sessions after the boarding was over were really helpful. I learned everything I need from her.

Megan and her crew did an outstanding job of training our rescue pup… mix of Jack and Hound. She went out her way to ensure we trained as well. Absolutely recommend.

Awful experience. She kept saying negative things about my goldendoodle Charlie. Things like. “Charlie doesn’t like anything, everything is a big ask”. “ you can tell he’s never been pushed to do anything”

I also confided in her that I suffer from anxiety disorder because I lost my mom. Went on instagram right after to preach that people with mental illness need to eat right, excercisr and get sun. Ok, I don’t teach dog training she does not have a medical liscense. Stay in your own lane how dare u judge something u know zero about. I went and got my dog today I am really upset.

Marcela did a great job with my pup. She was flexible along the way and willing to work with my schedule. Definitely recommend
