The Florida Angler

The Florida angler is the place to be in clermont. Everyone there is very kind but Nick the general manager has got to be the nicest angler I’ve ever met and he leads by example. There’s not a person there that would turn away someone with questions or an issue with their gear. Whether you need new stuff or not this is a great place to go and meet some great people who are just looking out for their fellow anglers.

I am not usually one to write reviews, but this situation has stuck with me for a couple of weeks, and after discussing with my wife, I thought I should share my horrific disappointment in this buisness. Upon entering the store one afternoon with my daughter, a young lady (on the heavier side for reference) immediately started to whisper to another young girl next to her. Girl 1 proceeded to make vulgar faces directed toward my daughter and I, and attempted to “discreetly” take pictures on her phone and laugh with her friend. My daughter is intellectually disabled and was previously being teased at school, so I thought to cheer her up what better than a father-daughter fishing trip? I was wrong. While I love the teenage boy who works there, I have seen this girl a few times and believe she is an employee or related. Though a supporter of small business— particularly in the Downtown Clermont area— I might have to take my buisness elsewhere at Bass Pro Shops.

Very rude staff. We just walked in to look around and picked some stuff up and they said that’s for customers only. I would return if this staff and attitude was fixed

Great little shop in town, super friendly guy at the counter, always a must stop while I'm in the area.
